Round 1

TRADE! DEN gets #16 pick, 2025 draft
AZ gets #20 & #85 picks, 2025 draft
Denver moves up to get their stud RB for Sean Payton. Arizona has the 2nd fewest picks in this draft right now (5) so I would expect a drop back somewhere to gain extra collateral.

(from DEN in trade for #16 pick)
No loss for Arizona in trading back 4 spots here, as they still get the player I think they'd have drafted at that position anyway.

I think Cincy spends the cash to keep Higgins and extend Chase. The defense HAS to come first (and often) for Cincy here. Grant is a physical disruptor who instantly improves their pass rush and run defense.

TRADE! LAC gets #18 & #137 picks, 2025 draft
SEA gets #22 & #86 picks, 2025 draft
Luther Burden III is another trade-up option for LAC here, but I like the versatility that Loveland brings to Harbaugh's offense as a massive slot TE target.

(from LAC in trade for #18 pick)
I don't have Jackson in my first round projections, but since when do the Seahawks make traditional picks? Interior OL is the need, and Jackson (if not spectacular) is steady and reliable.

The Bucs could easily go DB here, but the opportunity to replenish a rapidly aging WR corps is too good here. The future WR tandem of Burden and Jalen McMillan looks solid after this pick.

Much like Warren-to-Indy, I consistently draft Egbuka to the Steelers. Rock solid WR who Lance Zierlein comps to Jaxon Smith-Njigba on the pro level -- Mike Tomlin will take that.

The more I look at Shavon Revel, the more I like him. He's got really good length, and the Packers could use a rangy corner to cover the likes of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson.

TRADE! KC gets #24 pick, 2025 draft
MIN gets #31 & #95 picks, 2025 draft
The Vikings have the fewest picks in the 2025 draft -- expect a drop back to try to remedy that. The Chiefs, suddenly vulnerable on the O-line with Trey Smith a free agent, trade up to solidify the line with Josh Simmons.

(from KC in trade for #24 pick)
The Vikings slide back to #31, acquire a 3rd round selection, and pick up a combo CB/S in Barron in the process. If Barron goes before this, I'd mock Josh Conerly Jr. in this position to MIN.

Matthew Golden stays in-state to fill the void left by Stefon Diggs at wide receiver. Not sure how long Tank Dell is on the shelf for, but Golden helps stop the bleeding at what was (recently) a strong position for Houston.

I've gone WR a bunch for the Rams, but the receiver room isn't bare just because Cooper Kupp's on his way out. The Rams are a real contender to trade down in this spot -- but KC already jumped and with no one else feeling froggy, LAR takes a strong CB in Benjamin Morrison.

I don't have another O-lineman with a first round grade right now, and the Ravens don't make surprising decisions (like SEA, for example). I've paired them with Emmanwori before, and I continue to love the addition of a hard-hitting physical safety.

In my previous mock, I selected back-to-back edge rushers from Texas A&M. The same thing happens here with Detroit and Washington -- I think Scourton's a touch better, but not by a lot. Detroit's need for EDGE depth doesn't need to be overstated.

I'm pretending Washington isn't the favorite to land Myles Garrett here. (If Cleveland's picking here and they don't get Abdul Carter #2, I'd probably make the same pick for them.)

The closer we get to the Combine, the more unlikely it seems that Nolen slides to Buffalo at #30. But it's a real value pick for the Bills in this mock draft, and they're not going to complain.

He's not the out-and-out edge rusher that the Eagles may want here, but Campbell's a versatile LB with a wider skill set than prototypical pass rushers. He played 351 run snaps and 330 coverage snaps in 2024 (vs. 100 pass rush snaps).
