Round 1

The Titans have said they're taking a "generational talent" 1st overall, or trading the pick. I believe them. The closer we get to the draft, the more I see Tennessee leaning Carter over Hunter. Unless the Giants move up to #1, I don't see the Titans agreeing to drop to #6 or #7 in a deal with the Raiders or Jets.

If the Browns don't want a QB here, they'll pick up the phone for the Giants, Raiders or Jets. Yes, Deshaun Watson has approximately $375 billion left on his deal. I don't think it matters -- especially with Carter off the board.

The Giants simply must go QB here unless they pick up Stafford or Darnold somehow -- I don't think they want a 37 y/o QB, and I don't think they want to see how Sam Darnold's Round 2 in MetLife turns out. Sanders is big enough for the spotlight.

TRADE! LV gets #4 pick, 2025 draft
NE gets #6 & #73 picks, 2025 draft
Trading up for NOT a QB here seems crazy - until you realize that Hunter fits 2 of LV's most glaring needs at once. Plus, the Raiders have to do SOMETHING glitzy, because they're the Raiders. Losing their extra 3rd round pick isn't too high a price for this move.

The Jaguars are married to Graham in reports, in mock drafts, everywhere. I'm not sure this is their biggest need - but I AM sure Graham is an absolute gamewrecker and a top 3 overall talent in this year's draft class.

(from LV in trade for #4 pick)
Drop down 2 spots, pick up an extra 3rd round pick, and snag the best offensive lineman in the draft. Just the Patriots doing Patriots things, really.

Edge rusher, O-lineman, corner and WR all seem like highly plausible picks. I'm leaning D with Aaron Glenn in town -- and virtually every DB not named Sauce Gardner is a free agent. This pick gives the Jets the best young CB tandem in the league.

I hear the McMillan-to-Carolina talk - yes, he's best WR in the class. But no, he's not the best fit for Carolina. They need a field stretcher, not a possession guy. Williams bolsters Carolina's pass rush, which is their other glaring weakness.

On the other hand... Kellen Moore's in New Orleans now. The more I think about it, the more I believe he won't be able to resist a pairing of Chris Olave and Tetairoa McMillan on offense. Let the offensive guru cook on this one.

The Bears need to go O-line here, and Membou is a riser. Huge guy, prototype measurables, and the ability to develop into a future cornerstone at left tackle.

The 49ers do need O-line help, but they historically don't draft the position early. I actually really like this pick -- the most dominant recent 49ers defenses had scary linebackers (Willis, Bowman, Brooks), and Walker fits that mold.

Zack Martin officially retired. That changes the mentality for Dallas here. Yes, Jerry Jones likes flashy picks. But give the devil his due, he tends to make long-lasting solid O-line picks. Booker directly steps in as Martin's heir apparent.

The same thing that makes Kelvin Banks weak to some teams (questionable size/length) makes him ideal for Miami. I've gone Malaki Starks here before, but if Banks falls to them at #13 he'll play OG for the Dolphins.

Another day, another draft, another Warren-to-Colts pick. If the formula ain't broken, don't fix it. The only way he DOESN'T land in Indianapolis is if someone drafts him before #14.

(If Kyle Pitts is really on the outs in Atlanta, would they make a play for Warren?) That thought aside... pass rush is on the docket for Atlanta early in the 2025 draft, and Mike Green should only continue to rise after the Combine.
