Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Bengals: Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia

The pick has to be on defense. Joe Burrow just had an incredible season and they didn't make the playoffs solely due to the defense. Williams is a solid edge defender who is solid against the run and can disrupt the QB. I could also see them going with Emmanwori as they have missed Jessie Bates and Vonn Bell at safety. They're defense has not been the same since they left.

19. Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

They're in need of a linebacker. Campbell has flown up the board in the past few weeks due to his instincts, speed, and athleticism. Sneaky good pass rusher too. Tampa needs someone to play off the ball and he just had 119 tackles in the SEC. Great fit.

18. Seahawks: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Emmanwori just lit up the combine and would not be surprised if he's picked in the top 12. But this seems like a perfect fit. A little bit similar to Kyle Hamilton in the sense he is a do it all safety, not to mention who Mike Macdonald coached in Baltimore.

20. Broncos: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

The more I think about it I can really see this happening. They signed Evan Engram in free agency so that would take a tight end out of the picture. I think Egbuka is the most reliable receiver in this draft. They need that around Bo Nix. The reason I am switching from running back is because I think they are more than happy to take Judkins or Henderson in the second round. Omarion Hampton could also be the pick but I don't think they view him as a significantly better prospect than Judkins or Henderson.

21. Steelers: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

After losing both Wilson and Fields they are sort of forced to take a QB but there is no buzz around anyone except Shough, Ewers, and Milroe. They will probably sign Rodgers but that will be a one year deal. I think they will look on the defensive line in round one. Also I think they learned from drafting Pickett that they don't need to force a QB.

22. Chargers: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

I originally had Colston Loveland here but I don't think he makes it here. Golden has flown up the board since the CFP and I think he is just what Herbert needs. He can stretch the field and will compliment Ladd McConkey.

23. Packers: James Pearce Jr., DE/OLB, Tennessee

Pearce was originally in the top 10 for me. After a bunch of interviews he has fallen to the bottom of round one. This would be an Eagles pick but I don't think his talent lets him fall that far. This pick could also be corner if Jaire Alexander leaves.

24. Vikings: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

Corner has been their achilles heel for the last few years. They did just re sign Byron Murphy but they should not be done adding to that position. Barron is versatile as he can play both in the slot and on the outside. I like this fit. That is if he doesn't go sooner.

25. Texans: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

After losing Tunsil this pick has to be at tackle. Or at the very least on the offensive line. Stroud regressed a little bit due to how bad the OL was. The WR room was banged up but he had no time. I think Conerly fits in perfectly here. Although, they may have to jump up to get him.

26. Rams: Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State

They did just draft Verse and Fiske last year, both from Florida St. Keep the trend going. Those two just lit it up. Thomas is a bigger corner who is quick and has great ball skills. The interceptions weren't there but he had a ton of pass break ups.

28. Lions: Jack Sawyer, DE, Ohio State

They did sign DJ Reed so they should be good at corner now. The pick has to be on defense after they got torched by Washington. Jack Sawyer seems like a Lions pick.

29. Commanders: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky

Their weak spot was their secondary, especially after having to cut their first round pick from just two years ago, Emmanuel Forbes. Hairston is a speedy corner and excels on the outside. This would let Sainristil get back into the slot.

27. Ravens: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

They let up way too many big plays. Wiggins turned out to be a good pick but they need another safety across from Kyle Hamilton. Malaki Starks is getting lost in the buzz around other players. He has great instincts and would fit great here.

30. Bills: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

They desperately need help on the inside of the line. They could not stop the run.

31. Chiefs: Aiereontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

Their offensive line was non existent in the Super Bowl. They'll need to rebuild it.

32. Eagles: Donovan Ezeiruaku, OLB, Boston College

Brandon Graham retired so they'll need to replace him, and Howie Roseman has no problem drafting defensive linemen in the first round.
