Round 1

Picks 1-16
2. Bears: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

We need more playmakers for Justin Fields. Johnston has the size, speed, hands and route running to be a #1 WR. We considered Will Anderson Jr but we must support our QB.

3. Lions: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

We need a QB of the future. Young is the best QB available and a franchise QB. He has been amazing for Alabama for several seasons. No reason to think he can't continue in the NFL.

4. Seahawks: Will Anderson, DE, Alabama

We plan to sign Geno Smith to a long term extension he has earned it. Anderson is the best player available, fills a need and plays the 3-4 defense we already use. Anderson is a pass rushing menace and we need it.

5. Panthers: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

It is clear that neither Mayfield nor Darnold are franchise QBs. Matt Carol could be but we don't know. You must have a franchise QB to succeed in this league. Richardson has great size, arm strength and dual threat ability.

6. Eagles: Myles Murphy, DE, Clemson

We have the luxury as the best team in the NFL to take the best player available since we have a top 10 pick. Myles Murphy is a big defensive end with pass rushing skills. We also don't need him to be a pro bowler in year one. You can never have enough pass rushers.

7. Cardinals: Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia

We have many needs. We could take Carter DT, Johnson Jr OT or Addison WR but we settle on Ringo is who is a big shutdown CB. Not sure DT have good value this high and Humphries should be back next year plus we have added to our WR group several times.

8. Packers: Jordan Addison, WR, USC

This is easy. We still need WR talent and Addison has proven at multiple schools that he can get open and catch the ball.

9. Raiders: Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State

Having Renfrow and Waller on IR has been a struggle for our offense. We need better play from our offensive line. Johnson is a stud OT for Ohio State. We need a RT like tomorrow.

10. Texans: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

#1 Pick = CJ Stroud QB
There isn't really anything we don't need. Carter is a dominate defensive tackle for the best defense in college. He will be perfect in our 3-4 scheme.

11. Jaguars: Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame

Mayer is a stud TE with size and hands. Ever great QB needs a TE that can get open. We brought in Engram but we still haven't filled the need.

12. Steelers: Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

We really want an OT or OG but none have value here. We need help in our secondary and Porter is a stud. He is 6-2 and 200lbs with great footwork.

16. Patriots: Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina

Our biggest needs our playmakers (none worth taking) and OT (none). So we turn to our secondary and make it even stronger. Smith is 6-0 with great skills.

17. Seahawks: O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

Pick #4 = Will Anderson Jr OLB
We would love to add a playmaker here but no real value. This is a tad high for Torrence but he is a bulldozer at guard. A devastating run blocker and we like to run the ball.

18. Chargers: Bryan Bresee, DT, Clemson

Bresee is a 5 star prospect had is returning to form after an injury last year. We need better play from our defensive tackles.

20. Commanders: Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson

We have several needs but a playmaking defender that can line up all over the field gives great value at this point.

21. Ravens: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon

We want playmakers but none are really available. We have had a stud secondary for many years but they are losing a step. Gonzalez is 6 feet tall and 200 lbs. He can play man and zone making him a perfect fit for us.
