Pre-Combine Mock Draft
(Feb 24, 2026)
Round 1
Picks 1-16
Picks 17-32
Plenty of directions the Lions can go with this pick. With Taylor Decker a question mark, offensive tackle could be the play. That's where Utah's "other" tackle comes into play.
2024 Caleb Banks looked to be trending towards being a first round pick. Then he got hurt in 2025. Good news is he looked like his 2024 self at the Senior Bowl, so it sounds like his stock is back on the up and up at least for the time being. Minnesota could certainly use his presence in the middle of their defensive front.
Broncos get: Picks 19 and 156 (R5)
Panthers get: Picks 30 and 62 (R2)
Operation get Bo Nix a vertical weapon is at the forefront of this trade. It's a costly one, but Sean Payton could see Kenyon Sadiq as his new Jimmy Graham. Nix and Sadiq also crossed paths at Oregon, so the two would have some built in chemistry as well.

Bills get: Pick 20
Cowboys get: PIcks 26, 91 (R3) and a 2027 5th round pick
Keon Coleman as the big-bodied compliment to Khalik Shakir hasn't worked out, so the Bills jump ahead of both the Browns and Steelers to try and remedy that with the selection of Denzel Boston.

Hindsight is 20/20, isn't it? If the Steelers could have a do-over of last year's draft, maybe they would take Jaxson Dart over Derrick Harmon. Ty Simpson was trending towards being a very high R1 pick, but he really tailed off at the end of the 2025 season. It wasn't entirely his fault, but I'm sure it'll negatively affect his draft stock. Still, working with a guy like Mike McCarthy could be a good fit.
49ers get: Pick 22
Chargers get: Picks 27, 127 (R4), 133 (R4) and a 2027 5th round pick
San Francisco is still getting excellent play from Trent Williams at left tackle, but he'll turn 38 in July. Just how much longer does he have left? This would feel like an excellent fit for a guy like Monroe Freeling, who has terrific natural talent, but could be a bit raw without a ton of college starting experience to his name. Imagine getting to learn from a surefire future Hall of Famer like Trent Williams. Sign me up!

Either side in the trenches in the first round is never a bad bet with the Philadelphia Eagles. Like Caleb Banks, T.J. Parker also dominated at the Senior Bowl. Depending upon how the situation with free agent to be Jaelan Phillips plays out, EDGE rusher could become a need in Philadelphia.
Now the Browns get their receiver in Concepcion. They still have question marks at QB, but with Concepcion and Spencer Fano, at least the supporting cast is much improved.
McDonald is a true nose tackle who eats up double teams and dominates against the run. Da Bears had a magical 2025 season, but their run defense was one of the worst in the league.
After giving the Cowboys a linebacker at 12, I wasn't sure whether to go D-Line or defensive back with their next draft pick. Keldric Faulk has a little bit of Mykel Williams in his game, though I'm not sure he's quite as good a prospect as Williams was coming out a year ago.
LA missed out on Penn State's Vega Ioane, which is a shame given their need at guard. They circle back after a trade back and land Emmanuel Pregnon, who could go anywhere from the late first to mid second round range.
Even though Proctor played left tackle at Alabama, it feels like he could be a better fit at right tackle for the professional level. He certainly fits the size prototype at 6'7" and over 360 pounds. Anything to protect C.J. Stroud.
Without a succession plan for Matthew Stafford worth considering here at 29, the Rams double up in the secondary. McNeil-Warren has excellent size, is very physical and thrives downhill against the run. Between McNeil-Warren and Quinyon Mitchell, Toledo is staking its claim to be DBU.
Improving the pass rush sounds like it's very much on the menu for GM Dan Morgan. Miami's "other" pass rusher in Akheem Mesidor isn't as highly thought of as Rueben Bain, but provided teams are comfortable with his injury history and older age, he's someone who should go fairly high and could have an immediate impact for whoever drafts him.
One more big Senior Bowl winner was Zion Young, who carried the momentum from a productive 2025 season down to Mobile. K'Lavon Chaisson was one of the biggest bargain free agent signings last offseason at just 3 million dollars. He'll likely get a sizable pay raise. If the Patriots don't want to be the ones to give it to him, they'll have to look at drafting a replacement early if they don't address the position in free agency. Wide receiver and O-Line are also distinct possibilities to help out Drake Maye.
Texans get: Picks 32 and 187 (R6)
Seahawks get: PIcks 38 (R2), 128 (R4) and 165 (R5)
Seattle won the Super Bowl, and Rashid Shaheed played a big role in helping achieve that. He did cost them their 4th and 5th round picks, which left them with only four picks in this draft. With that in mind, and the Texans seeing a player they like, the two teams strike a deal to close out this mock draft. Peter Woods is a guy with the talent to go higher than this, but he didn't always play up to his talent level in 2025. Houston does have an excellent defense, but one area that could improve is defensive tackle.
