Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Titans: Abdul Carter, OLB, Penn State

Titans take the known talent at a premium position instead of another rolll of the dice at fixing the QB conundrum

2. Browns: Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

One of the few blue chip talents in the draft.

3. Giants: Cam Ward, QB, Miami

They probably have to trade up to land Ward with certainty. I don't think he is worthy of the number 1 pick let alone extra draft capital

4. Patriots: Jalon Walker, OLB, Georgia

A few picks to high. The Pats are in a tough spot to fill a need without reaching. A few trades back could net them a WR/T prospect while getting some future draft capital.

5. Jaguars: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Like the Pats, WR and OL are pressing needs without the talent matching up. While they have other roster holes, Jeanty presents a upgrade to a bad unit. Jax has had luck with a shorter NFL back.

6. Raiders: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

A tackle to pair with Wilkins and make a very formidable line with Koonce coming back and Crosby extended. All three coming off injury however.

7. Jets: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

They may lose Wilson soon if we are to believe rumors. Rodgers collection of WR friends are following him out the door. OL, DT and LB are also needs to be considered here.

8. Panthers: Mykel Williams, DE, Georgia

A season long injury limited production. Williams can add some star power to a defense who feels blah after being left with Brown and Horn as the only difference makers

9. Saints: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

A lot of upgrades are needed throughout the roster. I think they could do better next year at QB in the draft as I expect them to pick higher than #9.

10. Bears: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

Da Bears have upgraded both lines through trades and FA. A DB or slot receiver remains a need. I expect Campbell to rise come draft time. He can do all three aspects of the position, has athleticism and is much better than what the draft offers at the position.

11. 49ers: Will Campbell, OT, LSU

The shortest wingspan at T in the past 25 years at the combine. Like Skronski recently, he probably has to move inside eventually.

12. Cowboys: Kelvin Banks, OT/G, Texas

More of a guard body but I imagine he hangs outside due to quick feet and other T like measurables. Cowboys need help at either OL spot.

13. Dolphins: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Rangy, super sized and athletic safety. Holland bolted, opening up another roster hole. OL is in terrible shape which may force giving it attention here

14. Colts: Tyler Booker, G, Alabama

Replacement for Fries. TE/DB is a need but there may be better positional prospects to be had in later picks.

15. Falcons: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Any DL here could help. Another outside CB is needed. Johnson's spot in the draft will be heavily influenced by his pro day as he is still mending from injury.

16. Cardinals: Shemar Stewart, DE, Texas A&M

Fills one of many needed upgrades. Finishing production plagued Stewart throughout his college career. Measurables compare to Myles Garrett.
