This is not a predictive mock. My thoughts: 1. Teams may not be very willing to take QB's with low ceiling's. 2. EDGE's drops due to their red flags 3. CB's fly off the board at the end of R1 due to shallow CB class. 4. Take good players, regardless of position, near the top of round one due to the lack of quality players 5. Take "green flag" players near the bottom of round one. Stick around for pick 64 to see my wild idea.

4. Patriots: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Everyone keeps telling me Jeanty to the Patriots is crazy... I have 3 blue chip grades in this class and he is one of them. In such a shallow draft, what downside is there to drafting a player you know is going to be a great NFL player? I think Drake Maye would love this pick.

I think Loveland is amazing. I know the need at RT is massive right now, but this is not predictive so I will have some fun here.

The Saints need to build out this roster before taking a QB. Ride with Rattler or an injured Carr to the number one pick next year.

10. Bears: Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina

I think it is unlikely Jeanty makes it to 10. I love Hampton's game and think he can be a superstar.

11. 49ers: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

12. Cowboys: Jalon Walker, OLB, Georgia

BIG BOARD: 15

I am afraid Overshown may never come back fully from this injury. I think Walker can be a great EDGE or LB, which is versatility the Cowboys need right now.

13. Chargers: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

BIG BOARD: 10

Everyone knows the Colts are taking Warren. If Loveland is off the board at this point, I think it is likely someone tries to jump them. Warren would be such an amazing fit in this offense.

14. Colts: Kelvin Banks, OT/G, Texas

BIG BOARD: 17

The Colts do not have Braden Smith or Raimann under contract next year. Banks positions them for the future. Even with his shorter arms, the Colts will give him a shot at OT.

15. Falcons: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

BIG BOARD: 19

I have fallen in love with the idea of Burden in this offense. They should be able to manufacture lots of touches for him.

16. Cardinals: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
