Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Bengals: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

Defense is the biggest need for the Bengals and anyone is a huge help. There are a couple of very good safeties that seem to grade out around here. I'm giving Starks to them because I'd love to see the Seahawks get the other one.

18. Seahawks: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

Maybe this is wishful thinking but Emmanwori just looks like a Kyle Hamilton mold. McDonald would LOVE to have such a player on his defense in Seattle despite their glaring needs at O-line and WR.

19. Buccaneers: Tyler Booker, G, Alabama

Booker would be a great addition and good value here. I have seen some mocks put him in round 2 but I think more teams are realizing the benefit of blue chip guards now and they are sometimes getting paid well.

20. Broncos: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

I'm expecting somebody to trade up to here to snag Sanders as he is likely to fall only this far and teams may be anticipating the Steelers would pick him.

21. Steelers: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

I almost went WR here but a QB like Dart would give them a fallback plan in case Rodgers decides to not show up or is just a shell of a QB.

22. Chargers: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

Harbaugh has a good eye for building a team and isn't afraid to take the unsexy picks that will yield the best results. Nolen is good value.

23. Packers: Landon Jackson, DE, Arkansas

Jackson would be a nice addition here as a versatile pass-rusher and this fills a need.

24. Vikings: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

You want JJ McCarthy to have success? Give him another reliable target to throw to. There are some good defenders that would make sense too but why not add a talent to this already good receiving unit.

25. Texans: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon

With Tunsil out, this is a bit of a need pick. Conerly looks to be a decent pass protector from day one.

26. Rams: Harold Perkins, OLB, LSU

The Rams are clearly still in win-now mode. Adding a talented pass rusher like Perkins here makes a lot of sense as he will have an immediate impact.

27. Ravens: Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

Good value pick here. The Ravens always seem to find decent value despite rarely drafting early.

28. Lions: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss

Never can have too many talented CBs and Amos has the build and skillset that teams covet at the position.

29. Commanders: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky

A good physical presence as a corner could end up being a nice value pick here.

30. Bills: James Pearce Jr., DE/OLB, Tennessee

Pearce has some character concerns but coming into a team like Buffalo he should be able

31. Chiefs: Grey Zabel, OT, North Dakota State

The Chiefs always seem to find good value offensive linemen in the draft. Zabel will fit in their nicely and clearly fills a big need.

32. Eagles: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

A great option that is a luxury pick this late. I could also see somebody wanting to trade back in to get this pick so very unsure.
