Post Combine Mock Draft
Best guesses before free agency begins
Round 1
Picks 1-16
Picks 17-32
Freeling doesn't have a ton of college starting experience, so he's a bit raw, but he's got just about everything else going for him. He could be a great succession plan for Taylor Decker, who is coming back for 2026 but may not be around for a lot longer. FWIW, the Lions took Tate Ratledge 60th overall out of Georgia a year ago. That paid off as Ratledge excelled as a rookie. Going back to the UGA O-Line well could be a winning strategy for GM Brad Holmes.
Unfortunately for Caleb Banks, he missed most of 2025 with a foot injury after excelling in 2024. He made up a bit for it with a superb Senior Bowl and continued the momentum at the combine. Very high ceiling here, and pairing with a defensive coordinator like Brian Flores could get it out of him.
In a draft with a lot of question marks, it's very feasible that Kenyon Sadiq could go higher than this. He certainly made a case for a higher draft slot after putting on a show at the combine. Bryce Young got a legit #1 receiver in last year's draft with Tetairoa McMillan and would get another explosive weapon here.
I think I mocked Auburn's Keldric Faulk to the Cowboys in my last mock draft with their second first round pick. Then I read that they're switching to a 3-4 defense, and I don't think he'd fit that scheme at all. So I'm changing it up and giving them Akheem Mesidor instead. Miami's 'other' pass rusher is an older prospect with an injury history that will need to be vetted, but if teams are comfortable, he can definitely get into the first round. Dallas adds another piece to a leaky defense.
It was sort of a tale of three seasons for Ty Simpson at Alabama in his lone season as a starter there. He started poorly in his first game against Florida State, then was excellent for about two months before tailing off at the end of the season. His combine performance was solid if not spectacular, and in a weak QB class after Fernando Mendoza, teams could take a shot on him earlier than if it were a strong(er) class. Even if Aaron Rodgers returns in 2026, he's obviously not the long-term answer under center in Pittsburgh at age 43.
Rams get: Pick 22
Chargers get: Picks 29 and 93 (R3)
Aside from getting Makai Lemon to pair with Puka Nacua, this would feel like the second most unfair for the NFL scenario in regards to the Rams. Now they add arguably the best talent at corner in the draft in Jermod McCoy. The only reason he could possibly drop a bit is because he suffered a torn ACL that caused him to miss the 2025 season, so I feel like his draft stock is at least somewhat in flux at the moment, but the 2024 tape was superb. A trade between the two LA teams nets the Chargers an extra third rounder.

ASU's right tackle started his rise up draft boards at the Senior Bowl and continued to rise with his strong combine performance. He's another raw, athletic tackle, but have Lane Johnson mentor him and he could be a future beast of a right tackle in Philadelphia.
Maybe Fernando Mendoza will get to reunite with Omar Cooper in late April, but it doesn't happen in this mock draft. We still don't seem to have a long-term answer at QB for the Browns, but at least the offense looks better courtesy of this mock with a new right tackle and wide receiver.
The Bears did lead the league in interceptions as a team defensively this past season, but were in the bottom half of the league in sacks. He was a bit disappointing in 2025 after a stellar 2024 campaign, but the 2024 season does give one an idea of his potential, and he does seem to check the box in terms of being a lengthier defensive lineman that defensive coordinator Dennis Allen usually prefers.
Drops have been a concern for Concepcion in his college career, but he made sure to catch everything during a strong combine showing. Buffalo will undoubtedly want to get Josh Allen some higher end weapons to work with.
Here's a possible succession plan for Trent Williams in Caleb Lomu. The 49ers should and will also consider defense and WR here, I'm sure.
Proctor feels like a guy who could play either tackle or guard at the NFL level. He did a good job of getting his weight down around 350 pounds for the combine, and it helped him. Never a bad thing to get C.J. Stroud some more protection.
Cardinals get: Pick 28
Chargers get: Picks 34 (R2) and 104 (R2)
The Chargers move down again and allow the Cardinals to fill a big hole at right tackle with Clemson's Blake Miller, who has a lot of game experience with 54 career starts. Miller also showed well for himself at the combine.

Could this be early for Eli Stowers? Yes, but he could be Sean Payton's version of Jimmy Graham in Denver. His 45.5 inch vertical and 11'3" broad jump were otherworldly. He also ran a 4.51 40, which is backed up on tape. He's kind of in a weird spot now where I have doubts he'd last until the Broncos late second round pick, and with the Chiefs looming at 40, they might have to take him here if they want him.
Pick is actually Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF
Watching ESPN's First Draft, Malachi Lawrence was one player they talked about at length in terms of being a value selection in the draft. Well, after his combine performance, he may have shed the sleeper label. It backed up the tape he put up at Central Florida. Given that Lawrence doesn't come with length concerns that Cashius Howell does, I went with him here instead even though it might be a bit of a surprise to some to see him this high even with his stellar combine.

Raiders get: Pick 32
Seahawks get: Picks 36 (R2), 134 (R4) and a 2027 6th round pick
Seattle won the Super Bowl and they decide to trade back for a couple of extra draft selections, one this year and one next year. They allow the Raiders to move up for Denzel Boston, who played his college football just down the road from Lumen Field. Boston is a big-bodied receiver who has a reputation for being very sure-handed, so it was surprising to see him drop some passes at the combine. Still, he could be a nice safety blanket for Fernando Mendoza to throw to.
