Post Combine Mock Trade Update

Published: March 3, 2026 34 Views 0 Comments Draft: 2026
The Browns traded for Texans RT/RG Tytus Howard and immediately signed him to a 3 year, 63 million dollar extension, so that'll shake things up a bit. I'll only make comments on things that changed a bit from the last mock draft that I published before the trade happened.

Round 1

Picks 1-16 Picks 17-32
17.
Monroe Freeling , OT , Georgia
18.
Spencer Fano , OT , Utah
Texans get: Pick 18
Vikings get: Picks 28 and 69 (R3)

Houston has some extra draft ammo and uses it to move up for Spencer Fano, who falls in this mock draft. The Utah right tackle is just so smooth with his on-field movements. His barely over 32 inch arms are the only reason I have him still on the board here, but this guy is just so natural that I think he's got a chance to stay outside at tackle even with his short arms. A+ character as well, even seems willing to try a move to center if need be. He's the exact kind of guy a team will want in its locker room.
19.
Kenyon Sadiq , TE , Oregon
20.
Caleb Lomu , OT , Utah
Browns get: Pick 20
Cowboys get: Picks 24, 107 (R4) and 147 (R5)

Cleveland still gets a tackle, just with its second first round pick rather than at 6. Caleb Lomu has already played left tackle at a high level in college, so he's not the projection other players at the tackle position in this draft would be.
21.
Ty Simpson , QB , Alabama
22.
Caleb Banks , DT , Florida
Vikings get: Picks 22 and 123 (R4)
Chargers get: Picks 28, 97 (R3) and 117 (R4)

Minnesota still lands Banks, but felt the need to get ahead of the Bears with the way things played out this time around. The Chargers were once again happy to oblige with a trade down. It actually works out better for the Vikings like this as they basically swap the 97th pick for the 69th pick and still land Banks.
23.
Max Iheanaschor , OT , Arizona State
24.
T.J. Parker , DE , Clemson
Instead of Akheem Mesidor, I'm giving the Cowboys T.J. Parker out of Clemson this time around. Argument being is Parker is younger and doesn't have the injury history of Mesidor.
25.
Akheem Mesidor , DE , Miami
Parker is off the board this time, so the Bears pivot to Mesidor. As mentioned above with the Cowboys, teams will need to be comfortable with his advanced age and injury history. But there's no doubting the talent and ability to make an immediate impact (if he stays healthy). Like Parker, Mesidor does check the arm length box that defensive coordinator Dennis Allen usually looks for on the D-Line.
26.
Omar Cooper , WR , Indiana
The Browns trading for a right tackle left Omar Cooper available in this go around, and Buffalo decides to pivot to him from K.C. Concepcion. Cooper offers a little more size than Concepcion, which could be somewhat redundant with Khalil Shakir around, which sways the edge to Cooper here.
27.
Kayden Proctor , OT , Alabama
Lomu was off the board at 20 this time, so Kadyn Proctor is the pick here as a potential Trent Williams successor.
28.
Blake Miller , OT , Clemson
Cardinals get: Picks 28 and 86 (R3)
Chargers get: Picks 34 (R2) and 65 (R3)

LA and Arizona again strike a deal, but the Chargers decide they'd rather swap third round picks to move up to the top of Round 3 instead of adding another pick to its draft collection.
29.
Avieon Terrell , CB , Clemson
No trade up for Jermod McCoy to be had this time around, so the Rams pivot to Avieon Terrell. The younger brother of Falcons corner A.J. Terrell excelled in on-field workouts as he looked smooth throughout the process.
30.
K.C. Concepcion , S , Texas A&M
Titans get: Picks 30 and 168 (R5)
Broncos get: Picks 35 (R2) and 101 (R4)

Tennessee again moves up, but this time it's for a wide receiver to help out Cam Ward instead of adding a pass rusher to the mix. As mentioned in the last mock, Concepcion really helped himself out at the combine by catching everything.
31.
Colton Boomer , K , Central Florida
Pick is actually Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF

32.
Denzel Boston , WR , Washington
Raiders get: Pick 32
Seahawks get: Picks 36 (R2) and 123 (R4)
Picks 1-16 Picks 17-32
