Some minor tweaks to our Mock 2.0 after a wild start to NFL Free Agency.

Round 1

Picks 1-16 Picks 17-32
17.
Monroe Freeling , OT , Georgia
This is an easy selection after the Taylor Decker release. Freeling is extremely young and a monster, he can start if needed, although a year to sit would be ideal.
18.
Dillon Thieneman , S , Oregon
The Vikings need defensive interior help and secondary help. Unfortunately Caleb Banks has a foot injury so his draft stock has taken a hit. The Vikings released Harrison Smith so they'll take his replacement here.
19.
Peter Woods , DT , Clemson
The Panthers recently signed Rasheed Walker as a hopefully part-time replacement for Ikem Ekwonu, so this means can they keep focusing on their weak defence.
20.
Avieon Terrell , CB , Clemson
The Cowboys are back here with their second selection in the first round. They went defence at pick 12 and will be going defence again here at 20. The secondary continues to be an issue, so well address it now.
21.
Olaivavega Ioane , G , Penn State
Aaron Rodgers is still undecided if he'll return or not, although I believe he's in for one final ride. That being said he is extremely immobile and needs protection.
22.
Zion Young , DE , Missouri
The Chargers haven't spent much in free agency yet so it's tricky to know where exactly they'll be focused. This seems like a sneaky trade down spot to acquire more picks as they are missing Round 5 and 7. This pick is essentially a replacement pick for Khalil Mack next year.
23.
Kayden Proctor , OT , Alabama
This Eagles offensive line has a bunch of uncertainty, as injuries and looming retirements pile up it's tricky to see what will actually unfold. This pick is a bit of a toss up until we get some clarity.
24.
Denzel Boston , WR , Washington
We upgraded the Browns offensive line at pick 6, so now it's time to get some weapons. Jeudy wont be around much longer so there's no better time than now.
25.
Akheem Mesidor , DE , Miami
The Bears still lack a pass rush and when you have an offence that score points, you'll need to counter with a great pass rush on the opposite side.
26.
T.J. Parker , DE , Clemson
The Bills added veteran Bradley Chubb this off-season, although he is more of a rotational rental for the year. They need a spark and someone to play opposite of Greg Rousseau moving forward.
27.
Kayden McDonald , DT , Ohio State
The Niners defensive line continues to get weaker and more injury prone. They need some help instantly if they want to keep competing.
28.
Caleb Lomu , OT , Utah
This upcoming year has a chance to be very special for the Texans. Their defence will be top-5 and their offence will be returning Tank Dell, all that's left to do is build a strong offensive line.
29.
Max Iheanaschor , OT , Arizona State
The Chiefs offensive line has been a revolving door outside of Center and Right Guard. They need to figure this out before it gets too late.
30.
C.J. Allen , LB , Georgia
The Broncos get a solid middle linebacker here to help with one of their weaker spots on the team.
31.
Cashius Howell , DE , Texas A&M
The Patriots used free agency to address some offensive issues. Defensively, they still lack a consistent pass rush off the edge.
32.
Caleb Banks , DT , Florida
A bit of a luxury pick here. This mock, we have the assumption that Banks broken fit is enough to drop him (waiting for medicals) if so, the Seahawks can take a risk on a mid first-round talent, at a discounted price.
