Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Panthers: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

I thought size may cost Young being the #1 overall pick, but, that seems to have gone away and all signs are he will be chosen first.

2. Colts: C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State

Trade! Houston seems, to not want a QB at 2. Colts move up a bit to make sure they get the QB of there choice. There is smoke around Levis, however, I think when it comes down to it Stroud is the 2nd QB taken. Colts give up 4 and a 2 this year.

3. Titans: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

Trade! ARZ is in a complete rebuild and needs to add multiple positions. Adding premium picks is a must so this trade makes sense. Tenn gives up 11, 3rd rd this year and next year 1st.

4. Texans: Will Anderson, DE, Alabama

Trade! Texans add some draft capital and get the guy they coveted at 2. Anderson is the top Edge rusher in the class and the best overall defensive player.

5. Seahawks: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

Sea is shocked Wilson and Anderson both went ahead of them. The roll the dice on Carter who could end up being the best player in this draft.

6. Lions: Tyree Wilson, DE, Texas Tech

I feel Det has to go Defense. I was expecting it to be Witherspoon or Gonzalez but never thought Wilson would be available. BPA and also a position of need.

7. Texans: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

Trade!! Texans on the move again and Send 12, 3rd this year and 3rd next year to move up ahead of Atl and get the franchise QB to add to there defensive center piece obtained earlier.

11. Cardinals: Lukas Van Ness, DE, Iowa

Trade!! ARZ collected there extra 1st and 3rd and now take Van Ness. He is hard to mock but his upside is unbelievable. Can play inside or at DE. He knows how to get to the QB.

8. Falcons: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

Witherspoon is the BPA and Falcons need CB help. Edge rusher is a bigger need, but, Witherspoon is the better prospect then anyone left.

9. Bears: Peter Skoronski, OT/G, Northwestern

The Bears have to protect fields. Skoronski can get that done. He also has the ability to play G, so he is versatile.

10. Eagles: Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State

I would love to mock Robinson here as an Eagles fan but just don't see it happening. This is a Howie pick and not a bad one, just boring. Johnson adds depth and possible starting G for a year or two and then take over for Lane.

12. Raiders: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon

Trade! LV collected a couple 3rd's move down and select the BPA at there biggest position of need. Gonzalez is a solid pick at 12 and adding more picks always helps.

13. Packers: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

Packers move up after dealing Rodgers. WR and TE are very interesting and I had Kincaid here, but, TE is deeper in this draft than WR and they could look at RD 2 for a TE.

14. Cowboys: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas

Trade!!! Bill slides back and collects picks. Dallas gives 26, 2nd this year and 3rd next year to make the Jerry Jones of all picks and take the stud RB.

19. Buccaneers: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

TB has to get better upfront. QB is a huge need but won t matter if you can't protect him. It will be Trask's job for a year and go from there. Jones is the best OT available.

15. Jets: Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee

They finally get Rodgers. Now they must protect him. Kincaid is intriguing but Rodgers is a statue and Protecting him is more important.
