Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Texans: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

*TRADE UP*
Texans receive: Pick 1
Panthers receive: Pick 2, Pick 65, 2024 R2

If the Panthers are fine with trading, the Texans have to move up and get the guy they love.

2. Panthers: C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State

*TRADED DOWN*
Texans receive: Pick 1
Panthers receive: Pick 2, Pick 65, 2024 R2

If the Panthers are really okay with both Stroud and Young, why would they not net some extra draft picks and get a guy they like a ton anyway?

3. Cardinals: Will Anderson, DE, Alabama

Teams may not like the asking price to move up for this pick. I do not think Arizona finds a trade partner. They take the best player on the board.

4. Colts: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

Levis is a much lower-risk pick than Richardson. He can play sooner which is what the Colts will want.

5. Falcons: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

*TRADE UP*
Falcons receive: Pick 5
Seahawks: Pick 8, Pick 44, Falcons 2024 R5

The Falcons may not be thrilled to move up to pick 3 because of the cost, but two picks later the asking price should be much lower.

6. Lions: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

Jeff Okudah is officially gone so this pick seems fairly obvious. Whoever the Lions deem is the best CB will be the pick. Witherspoon fits everything they love in a corner.

8. Seahawks: Peter Skoronski, OT/G, Northwestern

*TRADED DOWN*
Falcons receive: Pick 5
Seahawks: Pick 8, Pick 44, Falcons 2024 R4
The Seahawks can trade down and still get one of the best players in the draft. They will move him inside to guard where he can make an impact from day 1.

7. Raiders: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon

The Raiders have an awful defense overall, and specifically a horrid secondary. Gonzalez will be some much-needed consistency.

9. Bears: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

Reports have begun to come out that the Bears will not pass on Carter if he is at this spot. It could be a smoke screen, but it is the best indicator we have as of now.

10. Steelers: Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State

*TRADE UP*
Steelers receive: Pick 10
Eagles receive: Pick 17, Pick 49, 2024 R6

The Steelers move up to get the best pure tackle in the class. Omar Khan wants to protect Kenny Pickett.

11. Titans: Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia

The Titans get a young player who can develop into a top tier offensive tackle. Vrabel loves building the trenches.

12. Texans: Tyree Wilson, DE, Texas Tech

Wilson slides all the way into Demeco Ryan's lap. He will hope to unlock Wilson's insane potential.

13. Packers: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

*TRADE UP*
Packers Net: Pick 13, Pick 42, Jets 2024 R2
Jets Net: Pick 15, Aaron Rodgers

The Packers move on from Rodgers and move up 2 spots at the same time. JSN will match well with the other receivers in GB.

15. Jets: Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee

Packers Net: Pick 13, Pick 42, Jets 2024 R2
Jets Net: Pick 15, Aaron Rodgers

The Jets get a tackle to protect new QB Aaron Rodgers.

14. Patriots: Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

Joey Porter Jr. is the type of cornerback the Patriots will be happy to draft.

17. Eagles: Brian Branch, S, Alabama

*TRADED DOWN*
Steelers receive: Pick 10
Eagles receive: Pick 17, Pick 49, 2024 R6

The Eagles get to move down and still get a player who can replace CJ Gardner-Johnson on day 1.
