Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Jaguars: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

Tyson Campbell had a down year but assuming he can stay healthy, he should still be a good option. Other than that the Jaguars secondary is very weak so here's a great option for them. I have Terrion Arnold as my CB 1B next to Quinyon Mitchell and a duo of Campbell and Arnold could be dangerous.

18. Bengals: Tallies Fuaga, OT, Oregon State

It's a deep OT class but I think Fuaga is a no brainer for the Bengals if he is available here especially with Jonah Williams leaving most likely. Helping Joe Burrow should always be the priority for this team.

19. Rams: Jared Verse, DE, Florida State

Best defensive player available should be the mindset for the Rams in this first round. Verse fits this and this would honestly be a steal if it were to happen.

20. Steelers: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

Last year, the Steelers traded up and drafted Broderick Jones, This year I see them strengthening the other side of the line with his former teammate Amarius Mims to fortify both OT spots for the foreseeable future.

21. Dolphins: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

The trenches for the Dolphins on both sides are the team's biggest needs. I'm sure we'll get a better idea which they pick to fill through the draft after free agency but until then, I think Byron Murphy is a great fit for this team whether or not Christian Wilkins comes back.

22. Eagles: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

Something the Eagles would like to forget is the horrible stretch of regression this team faced where they went from Super Bowl contenders to one of the worst teams in the NFL. No matter who you put the blame on, changes are coming including the arrival of Vic Fangio and I think this fit with the Eagles and Nate Wiggins is really good as Wiggins has the skill set to be elite if he adds more strength. I look at the success Christian Gonzalez had before he got hurt and I can see Wiggins doing the same early on.

23. Texans: Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois

With the offense pretty set for the future, this draft should be used to give Demeco Ryans pieces to build with for his defense to make this unit elite. I like adding Johnny Newton to the defensive line and being the starter of the future especially if the team doesn't resign Sheldon Rankins.

24. Cowboys: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

Tyron Smith could be departing so the LT spot is probably at the top of the Cowboys needs list. I like this spot for Tyler Guyton, he doesn't have a lot of experience yet but I trust a team like the Cowboys to develop him and get him up to speed.

25. Packers: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa

I really like this fit here, Brian Gutekunst loves versatile player especially on the defensive side and with the biggest needs for the Packers being safety and nickel back, Cooper DeJean fits this description like a glove.

26. Buccaneers: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

This pick is definitely subject to change depending on what the Bucs do in free agency specifically with Mike Evans. If Evans leaves, I like the Bucs to select Brian Thomas here. He's definitely more of a boom or bust prospect than people think in my opinion but I think the potential is just too hard to ignore especially if you're a team that needs a WR.

27. Cardinals: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan

After going offense with their first pick, I think going defense and selecting Kris Jenkins here especially with their need to boost the trenches makes sense. Jenkins is an awesome run defender and can make an impact from day one but I think there's some potential for him to be a good pass rusher as well.

28. Bills: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

If it wasn't obvious this year, the Bills need more weapons and explosive playmakers. Even if they add a WR in free agency like Calvin Ridley, I think they still need more fire power. Xavier Worthy's speed could be an awesome pairing with Josh Allen.

29. Lions: Chop Robinson, OLB/DE, Penn State

Love this pick here, Chop Robinson is an one dimensional prospect to me but at least he's really good at what he provides which is pass rushing. The Lions need any type of defensive help they can get and Robinson's skill set, athleticism, and character are natural fits for this team.

30. Ravens: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

The Ravens need more depth at the CB position in my opinion and I like Kamari Lassiter's skill set especially in zone coverage. Lassiter would be a great fit for the Ravens.

31. 49ers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

It'll be interesting to see what direction the 49ers will go, I think what they need to do is restock at a lot of positions especially their interior offensive line. Everyone except for Trent Williams was just painfully average most of the time so adding more to this unit should be important. Jackson Powers-Johnson is going to be a riser and I like his versatility to play either center or guard for this team.

32. Chiefs: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona

The Chiefs might have won the Super Bowl but it's safe to say this team has a lot of needs going into this offseason. One of those needs is definitely a LT of the future as the Chiefs are not going to be able to rely on aging veterans like Donovan Smith to fill that void so Jordan Morgan could be an option here.
