Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Bears: Caleb Williams, QB, USC

I'd trade back and keep Fields. Finding that trade partner to garner value seems to high. Fields could fetch mid round values with a future 2nd likely conditional.

2. Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU

A flip of the coin between he and Maye. Hoping he can learn taking on linebackers is a recipe to a short lived career choice.

3. Patriots: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina

Hopefully will have a line to block or a playmaker to throw to come September. Red-shirt might be a good idea so he doesn't lean on bad decisions

4. Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State

A more physical AJ Green. The next generation of a diva/disrupting WR is the only concern.

5. Chargers: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame

Good trade back candidate who can pick up assets and still land OL, WR, DE or a cornerback starter. Cap decisions may make positions more of a need.

6. Giants: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

Medicals and athleticism will have to checkout for this high of a pick. 2 2nd round choices to hit on receiver and OL help

7. Titans: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU

OL/defense could be a option but Nabers fills need with high value

8. Falcons: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

Another good trade back candidate to secure picks headed to Chicago for Fields. CB, DL help can be had in the mid to late first. This seems 5-10 picks early for Terrion and he is no consensus CB1

9. Bears: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington

Straight line speed worries could send him up or down the draft board

10. Jets: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State

They need a upgrade at several OL spots. He needs to start and perform right away. Could have gone higher last year might lead to a different prospect

11. Vikings: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa

Any spot on the defense needs addressing and DeJean can help solidify 1 of 3 spots

12. Broncos: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

Another CB seemingly going to high but fills a need and kills the urge to take a 2nd round QB talent

13. Raiders: J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama

Lasting through his rookie contract would be a welcome outcome for both Raiders brass and their fans.

14. Saints: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

WR room needs a influx of cheap, young and healthy talent.

15. Colts: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia

I can see him being a top ten pick. A nice safety valve for Richardson with value in the run game.

16. Seahawks: Dallas Turner, OLB, Alabama

A trade back candidate with no second and issues on the interior of both lines. Turner would make for a league envious pass rush rotation
