Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Jaguars: J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama

BPA. DB, WR or edge could go here. Latham is a plug and play RT who could give the Jags the opportunity to start best five and waive Robinson for cap purposes

18. Saints: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

Nice trade down to secure a active edge. Medical still may push him down the board 10-15 spots

19. Rams: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

A correction pick as pointed out by commenters due to error of FA guard who I thought went to Seattle. Easy plug inside for the hole left by Donald retirement.

20. Packers: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa

Steelers get #25, 169, 2025 3rd for #20 and 195. Dejean fills 3 spots in the secondary while probably best suited as a slot/safety prospect

21. Dolphins: Troy Fautanu, G/OT, Washington

Another RT/better G prospect. It fills a dire need with some flexibility.

22. Eagles: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

I don’t think he’ll be a number one but a great addition to the aging secondary

23. Patriots: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

A legitimate WR option for the Pats. It has been a while

24. Cowboys: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

A raw Tackle prospect for a team that needs a plug and play

25. Steelers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

Trade back and fill their C need.

26. Buccaneers: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia

Jensen retired and there is a hole. Both Barton and Frazier are 1st round overdrafts but provide plug and play options at the pivot.

27. Cardinals: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan

Higher than I’d choose him. Low sack/pressure numbers on a great team against a weak schedule. No issues with being a plus run stuffer. Arizona could pick any defensive position here and it would fill a need.

28. Bills: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

Limited college stats but played under the lights in both ‘22 and 23. Josh Allen can use him

29. Lions: Chop Robinson, OLB/DE, Penn State

A nice rushing mate for Hutchinson. Probably a minus against the run to start

30. Ravens: Graham Barton, G/OT, Duke

Vorhees could fill one open spot and Barton(Emergency T and C flexibility) could fill the other. OT, WR, CB and front seven could use some reinforcements/depth/youth. A good trade back candidate to help those needs with few dollars to spend.

31. 49ers: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona

Great depth add with issues on the right side of the OL. Everyone is back from last year so he could sneak into a starter spot with a good camp.

32. Chiefs: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

Fills the Sneed opening. Will be amongst the top 3-4 DB’s Spagnoula can operate with
