Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Dolphins: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

TRADE

This is the only way I would see Miami moving up. They've met extensively with Latu and apparently only have 16 first round grades on the board this year? Going to roll with this.

18. Bengals: Taliese Fuaga, G/OT, Oregon State

Seems like they're locked in for O Line. Going chalk. Unless they do something crazy like trade Tee Higgins during the draft.

19. Bills: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

TRADE

They have to be aggressive. They desperately need a receiver now and they could move up even further. It's been done before. But I think this is where they move to. Plus the Rams have a first round pick for the first time in 7 years, don't think they will know what to do with it. But I think the Bills have to love Brian Thomas and it makes sense to jump up and get him and they will have to jump Pittsburgh to do so.

20. Steelers: Graham Barton, G/OT, Duke

This seems like too good of a fit. They have been consistently linked to Barton and fits exactly what they need. Especially if he can play Center. But a versatile offensive lineman fits the bill. If Brian Thomas is still on the board here I think he will be the pick but I think the Bills will aggressively try to jump them to get Thomas

21. Jaguars: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

TRADE

If Latu is still on the board at 17 I believe Miami has a ton of interest in him they could move up but don't have much capital to do so. They're more likely to move back but not if Latu is there. I think the Jags are going to take McKinstry the more I think about it. They need a corner and given how much they are paying their receivers it would make more sense to take the corner here. Baalke has his own board.

22. Broncos: Jared Verse, DE, Florida State

TRADE

This team is an absolute mess. Didn't think I would have Verse falling this far. But here we are. Just take the best guy you can get while acquiring more picks.

23. Cardinals: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

TRADE

This would be a perfect fit. I think Minnesota makes the trade with Arizona giving them this pick. I'm not sure Arnold makes it this far but with the way the board might fall he could.

24. Cowboys: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

This pick will be O line. What number do you think the Cowboys pick next year? O/U 23.5. They have been linked to Powers-Johnson and with Biadasz leaving in free agency they need to find the replacement. Between him and Tyler Guyton for this pick.

25. Rams: Chop Robinson, OLB/DE, Penn State

TRADE

The late meetings with Chop Robinson are telling. Haven't had a first round pick in 7 years so who knows. Fits a big need though.

26. Buccaneers: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

With the top four edge rushers off the board I think corner or OL is the pick here.

27. Chargers: Darius Robinson, DT, Missouri

TRADE

Can't even keep track. They need help on defense. Could also be the Cardinals pick so slotting Robinson here too.

28. Packers: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa

TRADE

Seems like a great fit. He would fill a huge need playing the nickel spot.

29. Lions: Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois

They clearly follow their own board but I think Newton is too good to pass up. Signing Carlton Davis in free agency frees them up a little here.

30. Ravens: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

They need offensive line and receiver. If Mitchell makes it here I can see them running to turn this pick in.

31. 49ers: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona

They're one of the teams that have done a ton of homework on Morgan and think this is a pretty easy pick here.

32. Chiefs: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU

Also an easy pick. Same as above.
