Round 1
Well, it's locked in. I don't think they were ever on the fence about keeping Fields and moving the pick. It seems like they saw what they needed to see from him and were waiting for a good trade offer and apparently waited too long. Now Caleb Williams, the arm talent is incredible but he has had an interesting pre draft process. You can say what you want about a step down after he won the Heisman but losing your best receiver never helps. Anyway, he's going into probably the best situation a first overall pick has ever gone into.
It's either Jayden Daniels or Drake Maye here. Enough with the JJ McCarthy nonsense. I think it's Daniels here given Kingsbury is the OC. There is absolutely no way they take McCarthy over Daniels.
Now who picks Drake Maye is the real question. Not sure if New England is sold on him. I think they might like J.J. McCarthy more and it makes more sense because they can sit him for a year. Not buying the media lock on Drake Maye being a lock for number 3. I don't know. After all, I am slotting him here. Could be Patriots or Vikings
TRADE
Vikings get their guy and yes I think they get him at 4. I'm still not 100% convinced Arizona will pass up on getting the top receiver, especially since they have two first rounders. But they might know they'll come back up somewhere to get one of them.
TRADE
I think they come back up and take Nabers. Going off the Jurecki report that they prefer Nabers to Harrison.
This is exactly what the Giants need. Daniel Jones has never had a receiver that could consistently get open and win routes. I think taking the WR1 in the draft outweighs taking the QB4 or 5. I think the buzz saying they want a QB is all smoke. They have too much money in Daniel Jones and no help around him.
Was between a receiver and tackle here but after the Ridley signing it's going to be Joe Alt. They will probably just sit here and enjoy watching the chaos unfold before them and grab the best tackle in the draft. Left tackle is their biggest need on offense as Skoronski seems to be locked into playing guard. Alt and Fashanu are the only two that fully play the position as well.
They always seems to draft the best athlete. Now Dallas Turner fits exactly what they need and absolutely crushed the combine. Seems to be some buzz about Quinyon Mitchell too but I think Dallas Turner is too good of a fit here. The amount of coverage snaps he had at Alabama just makes him more of a fit for this scheme.
This seems like too good of a fit to me. They need help on the edge too but Byron Murphy fills a huge need on the inside and is picking up a ton of steam.
Given they completely rebuilt their O line in the offseason, it does free them up here. And I think they go best offensive player available, it gives Rodgers another receiving target and helps out with the blocking. I would say they take Odunze if he somehow falls this far. Good chance someone jumps the Jets here and take Odunze and the pick will be Bowers or move down. Anyway, welcome to hell, Rome!
TRADE
This seems like too good of a fit to me. A million trades happening but where does Harbaugh run the passing game through? Tight end. I know the Latham smoke but they have to give Herbert something.
TRADE
They're going to be aggressive. Always are. They desperately need a corner and especially one that can tackle. I think he is a perfect fit for Philly. They are going to have to jump up in this range given that Indy and Jacksonville also need a corner.
I think it's O line here. If they take Penix they will come back into the first round. I just can't see them going QB this early especially since it's not their first QB option.
I don't know where the hell they are going to go here. I feel like Fuaga is the best fit here. Or Verse. I don't know. They didn't bring anyone in for top 30 visits. Fuaga is the most versatile so going with him. I have no idea. Maybe this is where they
Here's my first bold prediction. I think they're taking a wide receiver and they could actually move up for one. Corner is the betting favorite but I think they use this pick on getting adding to the offense. I think Xavier Worthy goes much earlier than expected.
This is too good of a fit. They are in desperate need of offensive line help and the versatility that Fautanu offers is too good to pass up. Plus, local guy.
