Round 1

Picks 17-32
17. Saints: J.C. Latham, OT, Alabama

(TRADED DOWN FROM PICK 14)
OT 6
Big Board: 22

The Saints have A LOT of questions at tackle. This is a pick they had to make and netted some draft capital as well.

18. Bengals: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

DI 1
Big Board: 16

All the tackles are gone so the Bengals pivot to the electric interior pass rusher to replace DJ Reeder.

19. Eagles: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

(TRADE)
Eagles Receive: Pick 19
Rams Receive: Pick 22, Pick 120, 2025 R5

CB 2
Big Board: 13

The Eagles trade up to grab a CB who will be crucial in building Vic Fangio's new scheme.

20. Chargers: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU

(TRADE)
Chargers Receive: Pick 20, Pick 98
Steelers Receive: Pick 23, Pick 69, Pick 140

WR 5
Big Board: 23

The Chargers need WR badly and this hopefully fixes that.

21. Dolphins: Graham Barton, G/OT, Duke

IOL 1
Big Board: 25

The Dolphins need a lot of help on the offensive line. Barton's versatility will be crucial going forward for them.

22. Rams: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

(TRADED DOWN FROM PICK 19)
EDGE 1
Big Board: 10

Assuming the medicals check out on Latu this is one of the best values of the 1st Round.

23. Steelers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

(TRADED DOWN FROM PICK 20)
IOL 2
Big Board: 28

The Steelers currently do not have a center. This is the only pick they can afford to make.

24. Chiefs: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

(TRADE)
Chiefs Receive: Pick 24
Cowboys Receive: Pick 32, Pick 95, 2025 R4

WR 4
Big Board: 21

The Chiefs jump over their WR needy rival the Bills to grab a player who could be a monster in this offense. With Rashee Rice future in doubt, it makes this pick even more crucial.

25. Packers: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa

CB 3
Big Board: 17

DeJean seems to get mocked to the Packers a lot. It just makes sense.

26. Buccaneers: Jared Verse, DE, Florida State

EDGE 3
Big Board: 12

Verse falling to the Bucs is very improbable. If this does happen it would be an A++ pick.

27. Cardinals: Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois

DI 2
Big Board: 24

Jonathan Gannon will look to build a defensive line similar to what he had in Philly. Newton will be a perfect fit.

28. Bills: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

WR 7
Big Board: 35

The Bills miss out on the top receivers but still have to take one. Keon Coleman has some deficiencies for sure, but his talent may be too lucrative for the Bills to pass up.

29. Lions: Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina

WR 9
Big Board: 38

The Lions have their slot in Amon-Ra, and their deep threat in Williams. Legette could provide the true X Receiver to make this offense unstoppable.

30. Ravens: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson

CB 4
Big Board: 19

The Ravens always take value when it is provided to them. Wiggins falls due to size and run stopping concerns. The Ravens do not care and take the BPA like always.

31. 49ers: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia

(TRADE)
Panthers Receive: WR, Brandon Aiyuk
49ers Receive: Pick 33

WR 6
Big Board: 33

The 49ers trade away Aiyuk in order to save their ever worsening cap situation. The Shanahan offense should be able to find a replacement. Ladd is has low bust potential and is a great route runner.

32. Cowboys: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia

(TRADED DOWN FROM PICK 24)
IOL 3
Big Board: 39

The Cowboys trade back and take a massive position of need.
