Round 1
If you watched Brian Callahan's reactions throughout the year, you could see Will Levis was done around Week 3. Now, with the #1 overall pick, the Titans can pick a true (possible) franchise QB.
The Browns are gonna be the team this year no one knows what they'll do. Could they go QB? OT? WR? CB? Yes to all of the above, but they have the best chance to pick a better QB next year and deal with Deshaun Watson for 1 more season.
This really does feel like a Giants pick, eh? I have never been a fan of Sanders', but obviously he will be going Top 3. At least New York has Malik Nabers.
The Patriots are a roster that could go a lot of directions because it has a lot of holes. Now, with a new head coach, the sky is the limit. With the top tackle off the board, give Drake Maye the best weapon in the draft.
The Jaguars are another team that could go a variety of directions. I thought about WR or OT here, but Travis Hunter just seems like a Jacksonville pick.
Is part of this my fantasy as BSU alum and Raiders fan? Absolutely. Is this something that I could see happening come draft night? Absolutely.
The TE's are nothing to write home about in this draft, and the top 2 QB's are gone, so that leaves us with DL or CB. Just imaging Will Johnson opposite Gardner? Unfair.
They need DL help bad, after trading Brian Burns last year. Carter falls right into their lap.
I don't have much to say about the Saints... they anger me in so many ways. So, they just take best player available for their abysmal defense.
The Bears need all the help they can get to protect Caleb Williams.
This seems like a foregone conclusion that the 49ers are going to take best offensive lineman available at 11. Because like the Bears before them, they too need all the offensive line help they can get.
If Ashton Jeanty makes it past the Raiders, it is very likely he could land here. However, in this mock, he doesn't, so the Cowboys make an on-brand pick and take the best LB in the draft.
A team that got decimated by free agency last year is still trying to rebuild it's offensive line. I personally think this might be a bit of a reach for Ersery.
Such a stellar prospect falls into the Colts lap, but do they take him? I think they do.
An abysmal front 7 could really use some help, and gets some with Scourton.
Another reach in my opinion, but the Cardinals need some offensive line help and take the last (debatable) first round tackle left.
