Round 1

Carter is -3500, so the top 3 picks appear to be set in stone.

Campbell was a solid -175 favorite for the pick on April 14. Then April 20, he moved to an astronomical -950, the same odds that Hunter has at #2! But just a day later, he was "down" to -350, and now on the morning of the draft, he's back to a strong -550. All of the intel seems to be that he is their preferred OL. So why the drop in odds from that -950 figure? My guess is that it's to account for the possibility that someone trades up for Jeanty, since he's now the favorite to go 5th overall to the Jaguars.

TRADE! Jacksonville trades #5 and #142 to Chicago for #10 and #39.
Maybe the Jaguars are running an elaborate smokescreen in an effort to get someone to move up for Jeanty. The Raiders are an obvious potential landing spot for him just one pick later, after all. The Bears, armed with an extra 2nd Round pick, are an obvious trade partner, should the Jaguars be interested in the draft capital. However, what if they are simply enamored with Jeanty themselves? Perhaps they think that one of the best ways to help Trevor Lawrence is to have a truly studly RB for defenses to worry about. I think Jeanty is going to go 5th now, but I'm just not sure if it will be a team trading into this slot. Of major note is that the Bears, and not the Jaguars, are listed as the -175 favorite as the team to draft Jeanty, yet Jeanty is even more of a favorite to go #5 overall, at -220. This is swaying me to project the trade up by the Bears.

OK, so if Jeanty isn't there, this becomes much more difficult for me to peg. I really don't think we would see Sanders here, though he did come in on a top 30. Brady and Spytek come from Michigan and the CB need is huge, so maybe Will Johnson is a fit, though 6 overall for a slow corner who may have a knee issue feels like a big reach. (Johnson's O/U has tumbled all the way to 24.5, by the way.) LT Kolton Miller is in the final year of his deal (though he's hoping to work out an extension), so perhaps someone like Membou or Banks could work; Campbell came in on a top 30 but not Membou or Banks. Perhaps Walker could be seen as a BPA. The same could be said of Graham, who could form a formidable tandem with Christian Wilkins, assuming health, and Graham is also a Michigan man. Lastly, a boundary WR is a massive need, and the team did meet with McMillan (but not Golden).
Charlie Campbell has Membou as the pick, and as he's been right about the Raiders in the past, this is very noteworthy to me. Having said that, this is a new regime, but who knows, maybe his source or sources in the building are still there. Daniel Jeremiah's final mock just came out, though, and he has Banks here. Banks does seem to have more LT ability, and with Miller's contract situation, perhaps this positional value gets him the nod over Membou. Pete Carroll (he has a history of this) dropped a Twitter post where he has a GIF of Will Smith looking through a magnifying glass. I then had an interaction with Josh Norris and posted that Will Smith was staying with the BANKS family on his TV show. Norris re-posted this and said I probably nailed it. So I'm going to go with Banks, who is now the -115 favorite.

Schrager mocked Warren here in his just-released exercise, and the odds briefly moved to the Penn St. TE as the favorite for the pick. If Banks happens to go at 6 to the Raiders, this would be a toss-up between Membou and Warren, I feel. Heck, this could still be Banks. But there's been some late buzz on Warren here, and while it's true that a RT is needed, at least the other 4 starters on the OL are set. But the TE depth chart is barren, and, furthermore, there's not a reliable pass-catcher on the roster apart from Garrett Wilson. So the need is arguably greater, and Warren would qualify as a culture-setter for Aaron Glenn and this new regime.
On second thought, I'm going to opt for Membou. Why? Well, I think the positional value here is just too strong. There is a huge drop-off in OT/OL talent where the Jets will pick in the 2nd Round. Conversely, this is a deep TE class.

Walker is at his best when he's attacking downhill, and as the Panthers can use help off the edge and at LB, perhaps the 99th-percentile athleticism will win the day here. The Panthers had Walker in on a top 30 visit, as well. It's worth noting that Charlie did report last month that both Mykel Williams and Shemar Stewart would be under consideration for this pick. I think this is too rich for Stewart now, but perhaps Williams would get the call if the Panthers preferred a more traditional edge player. However, I really like Walker here because he's drawing raves for leadership and character as well, and he could even be an option at 6 or 7. That all said, Graham could very well be in play here.
Also of note is that many insiders, including Albert Breer, have reported that the Panthers could be willing to trade down. A possible scenario I could see here is the 49ers coming up to 8 to take Graham, and then Walker could still be on the board for the Panthers at 11.

The Saints seem wide open, but the betting markets have finally normalized and QB is no longer the favorite for this pick. DL and TE are the two favorites, and OL isn't too far behind. I believe this would come down to Warren, Graham, or Williams. In the end I'm going to opt for Graham, because DT feels like a much greater need than a pass rusher.

TRADE! (See #5 for details.)
After the move down, I believe that the Jags and Liam Coen want to recreate what he had in Tampa, with 2 great receivers. Tet is his new Mike Evans, and, with respect to Chris Godwin, Brian Thomas Jr. is a much better foil to what Tet will bring. Heck, I like BTJ more, but no matter.
HOWEVER... I am going to mock Warren here for the sake of the contest, as something of a hedge. If there's no trade at #5, then I think the Bears would take Warren here, so you get full credit for that scenario. But even if the trade is made, Warren's range feels like 7-10, either to the Jets/Saints or maybe a trade up by another team. Plus, you're not that far off on McMillan either if he does go 12th to Dallas.

OL/DL are the favorites for this pick, which makes total sense; both are listed at +180. As LT Trent Williams could be in his final year and as he seems like a more increased injury risk, and as LG is a gaping hole, this could be a good spot for Banks if available. If the team looked at DL instead, I'd expect Mykel Williams, Shemar Stewart, and Walter Nolen to be under serious consideration. The team has had all 4 of Banks, Williams, Stewart, and Nolen in for top 30 visits. In the end, I'm going to opt for DL, given the need appears to be more dire and given that this is what beat writers seem to be thinking. I think it would come down to Williams or Nolen. I think that Nolen is the better talent, with Williams not having the character questions. Schrager has mocked Nolen here. This is a hunch that the 49ers are comfortable with Nolen as a person, and I'm guessing he'd have priority because I think he's the type of disruptor that returning DC Robert Saleh will covet.

If both McMillan and Golden are available and if Dallas is going for a WR, this becomes a question. They've talked about explosiveness and speed, which could certainly mean Golden. Sharp mockers we've come to trust seem to be split on this decision, however. I'm going to go back to Tet in the final analysis, and here's why. For one thing, he's moved to a -370 favorite over Golden to be selected, the biggest lead he's had in over a month. And two, Jeremiah mocked this pick, even though he personally has Golden ranked higher and even though he's had Golden in this spot in his previous mocks. Perhaps Tet is the guy, after all.

I'm just seeing this in way too many sharp mocks, and I have to take notice. The Dolphins have a slew of holes and although Williams has to be tempting, a CB may take precedence. I was already considering one before the Jalen Ramsey news, so if he's on his way out, I mean, the situation there is the most dire on the team. With Johnson seemingly falling, I'll opt for the talents of Barron.

TE is the solid favorite for the Colts' pick, and it makes sense because their depth chart at the position is lacking. I'd expect OL if both Warren and Loveland are off the board, with Banks (if available) and Grey Zabel making the most sense. That said, Ballard loves his athletes, so I guess you couldn't rule out someone like Shemar Stewart or Nick Emmanwori. However, I think Ballard is really feeling the pressure and may be inclined to take someone who is more likely to help right away (Loveland) instead of a possible raw talent like Stewart or Emmanwori.
By the way, if Ballard had any sense, he would draft Sanders and trade Richardson for a Day 2 pick (even one in 2026), because he should give up that ghost. Instead, he's going to stake his job on AR and Daniel Jones, and it's probably going to get him fired after the Colts have another disappointing season.

This could be a spot where a team like the Browns, Steelers, Giants, or maybe even the Rams tries to come up for a QB, especially since the Falcons have a lack of draft capital this year. However, if Atlanta sticks and picks, DL is the overwhelming favorite (-270). With Williams now available, he gets the nod over Mike Green, a player that I could see going here if Williams is gone. Nick Guarisco has a source that said that Green is not off Atlanta's board, and coach Raheem Morris attended his Pro Day.

DL and OL are the favorites for this pick, and closely behind are WR and CB. I believe that Banks would have priority over any of the remaining edge players and this would have to be his absolute floor. You could certainly argue for Will Johnson here, as a boundary corner is a huge need, but I'm going to guess that Johnson slips a bit due to concerns about his knee, toe, and his slow 40 time. If this pick were a DL, you'd have to think that the likes of Stewart, Harmon, and Grant could be under consideration. If OL, I think both guards and tackles could be in play. The more immediate need is iOL, so you could argue for Zabel or Booker. However, I'm going to do something against the grain here and opt for the speed of Golden in this spot. Jeremiah has actually mocked Marvin Harrison Jr.'s former teammate, Egbuka, for this pick, and that could make sense if MHJ has enough sway with Ossenfort. However, Golden's speed would be a great complement to the volume of McBride and the more refined skill of MHJ.
