Round 1

Despite the ongoing evolution of the position at the NFL level as best exemplified by the Bears unlocking Fields this season, I still think teams prefer to have a bigger, pass-first, QB than the more dynamic Russel Wilson type that would be Bryce Young. It's funny that Russell Wilson kind of serves as a cautionary tale with his disappointing season after showing that success can be had with shorter scrambler QBs.

Carolina will be excited to have a player to be excited about.

Walt sold me on how badly the Bears need linemen but I had to go to Charlie's to find a top guy in his top 10. Charlie has him at 8, Walt at 14. But I figure Chicago may not mind reaching if they feel the fan base will be on board, which I presume they would be.

The Raiders seem a bit aimless but I'm not sure they'll be so desperate to draft a QB for the sake of drafting a QB. Taking the highest touted running back in a few years may just fit the bill as it'll allow them to offer a new potential star while working with what they got at QB.

Walt and Charlie both had him at 4 but I wanted to be different. However, if he's here I'm sure Seattle would be glad to nab him.

I'm copying from nickyv1580 as he has a pretty solid mock at https://debacled.walterfootball.com/readermocks/publishedmock/26
Walt thinks they'll give in to drafting a QB but I don't think so. And I want to mock the Eagles getting Robinson which is what Charlie has.

Walt sold me on this CB as I could see the story of the son of a former Steeler great being too hard to not pull the trigger for a franchise that overdrafted Picket but a minute ago.

Walt and Charlie are both thinking CB here so since I have Pitt nabbing Porter, Antonio Johnson it is.

I'm trying to do my part to speak this into existence. Though, lately, I'm realizing the Eagles simpy choose not to feature a back. They could make Sanders a feature back by simply playing him like one. Still. It be fun to see the Birds go RB for the first time since 1986 and Keith Byars.
