Round 1

Picks 1-16
1. Panthers: C.J. Stroud, QB, Ohio State

The Panthers could draft Young or Stroud here and feel comfortable in doing so. Stroud seems to fit the system they want to run.

Alternate Pick- Bryce Young

2. Texans: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama

The Texans get to stay put and get their QB1.

Alternate Pick- NONE

3. Cardinals: Will Anderson, DE, Alabama

The Cardinals take the best player available after not being able to find a trade partner.

Alternate Pick- Trade Back

4. Colts: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida

The Colts get the highest upside QB in the draft to sit behind Minshew. The Colts new HC will look to develop on Richardson's unique skillset.

Alternate Pick- Trade Back

5. Seahawks: Tyree Wilson, DE, Texas Tech

The Seahawks could go with Jalen Carter here, but his off field concerns will likely scare off many teams. Wilson has all the physical tools to be a dominant EDGE on this Seattle Defense.

Alternate Pick- Jalen Carter

6. Lions: Jalen Carter, DT, Georgia

The Lions have had troublemaker defensive linemen before... (Ndamukong Suh) Wherever Carter goes it will be controversial. The Lions have not shown signs of being out on Carter though.

Alternate Pick- Christian Gonzalez

7. Raiders: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

The Raiders may be higher on Jimmy G than most people realize. They want to compete now and their secondary could really use some pieces.

Alternate Pick- Will Levis

8. Falcons: Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon

The Falcons added Jessie Bates to the secondary. Now with Gonzalez it should be much improved.

Alternate Pick- Jaxon Smith-Njigba

9. Bears: Paris Johnson, OT, Ohio State

The Bears will want to protect Justin Fields at all costs. They take the best pure tackle available.

Alternate Pick- Peter Skoronski

10. Eagles: Brian Branch, S, Alabama

The Eagles signed Terrell Edmunds to play Safety for them but he is a quick Band-Aid. Branch can come in a contribute immediately to a secondary that got torched in the Superbowl.

Alternate Pick- Jaxon Smith-Njigba

11. Titans: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky

The Titans obviously would like to move on from Tanehill at some point soon. Levis can sit for a year and learn which is the best case scenario for him.

Alternate Pick- Peter Skoronski

12. Texans: Lukas Van Ness, DE, Iowa

The Texans will love the upside Van Ness will bring to the defense. Demeco Ryans will want to build up this defensive unit quickly.

Alternate Pick- Jaxon Smith-Njigba

13. Jets: Peter Skoronski, OT/G, Northwestern

The Jets will look to protect Aaron Rodgers who they will have just trades for. Skoronski can bring versatility to that offensive line.

Alternate Pick- Broderick Jones

14. Patriots: Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU

The Patriots will look to give Mac Jones some weapons finally. He fits what they want to do on offense.

Alternate Pick- Jaxon Smith-Njigba

15. Packers: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State

The Packers will look to give Jordan Love every opportunity to succeed. JSN is a playmaker.

Alternate Pick- Michael Mayer

16. Commanders: Joey Porter Jr., CB, Penn State

The Commanders take a prototypical player at a position of need.

Alternate Pick- Deonte Banks
