3 Teams that have surprised in 2019

1. Buffalo Bills

This one is kind of an incomplete because the Bills could easily slide and finish 8-8 or something near it, but nevertheless it is quite a surprise that the Bills have managed to win 6 games already in what was probably seen as a rebuilding year for this team. Regardless of what their final record is this team has likely already exceeded preseason expectations.

2. Carolina Panthers 

The Panthers have managed to have a respectable season so far with their starter out, I could definitely see a qb controversy in Carolina if Kyle Allen or Cam Newton isnt traded in the offseason, but as far as this year this team is still contending, time will tell, but its looking increasingly likely that this team is going to steal a WC spot from the free falling Rams and possibly the Eagles.

3. 49ers

I still think Jimmy Garopollo is just a game manager but 8-0 was much better than what most people expected out of this team this year, and it looks like they'l be a big factor in keeping the nfc champ defending Rams out of the playoffs, I dont think theyl win the SB this year but a conf championship or SB appearance is definitely looking possible.

3 Teams that have Dissapointed in 2019

1. Chicago Bears

The Bears looked like superbowl contenders after last seasons heartbreaking loss in the playoffs, however Mitch Trubiskys been a massive disappointment this year and the Bears are pretty much out of the hunt at this point in the decent NFC.  Look for the Bears to find a new qb in the offseason unless Trubisky has more games like he had in week 10.

2. Cleveland Browns

The Browns had high preseason expectations, and still have great talent, but a 3-6 start was not what people and expert believed would be this year, the browns still have a small chance at the playoffs since the afc wc may end up only mbeing 9-7 or 8-8 this year, while the Browns have an easy schedule, however the chances are very slim and the margin for error is next to none, Thursdays game vs Pittsburgh will say a lot about this team.

3. Detroit Lions

The Lions have some solid players and a solid qb, however it doesn't seem to be enough this year, and now Stafford could be out awhile.  Matt Patricia may be out after this year, as the Lions defense, which is his side of the ball, is terrible aside from a lousy win loss record.  It seems to be a simple conclusion that Belichick assistants are not worth hiring as coaches as all but Obrien have failed, and even hes not that great of a coach.  11 years in the league and it doesnt seem like Stafford will ever reach elite status, despite being paid elite money.

Rams and Chargers

Both these teams were Superbowl contenders last year and it seems more and more likely that they will both miss the playoffs, quite disappointing considering the talent, especially with the Rams, because they are a relatively healthy team with 3 quality recievers, a decent qb, and a decent defense.
