So my published picks for week 9 kind of stunk

5 right 5 wrong for -5 units

And figured I see the comments on Walt's picks and everybody tells him how he's wrong for hating on Brady and all his haircuts.  So figured maybe everybody could tell me what I got so wrong on my misses.

So here are my misses, the thinking of my pick and the reason I think I'm wrong.  Please tell me what I'm missing...and feel free to be colorful about it.  

Jets -8 (-2 units) - Clearly a different team with Fitzpatrick...coming off 2 losses but getting him back against the woeful Jags.  I'm going to take this as just a case where the better team just slept on a lead.  Will think twice next time Jets are favored by 7+

Rams +3 (-2 units) - Thought this was pretty even but that the Rams would play will in the Minn dome..and Foles was due for a strong game.  Kind of think since it went to OT I was kind of right about the Rams but was wrong about Foles.

Saints -7.5 (-4 units) - This one was the bad one.  I fully accepted the reemergence of Brees and bought into the idea the Titans were a mess with the coaching situation.  My take away is the Saints defense is terrible.  And the Titans with Mariota aren't a push over.

Den -4 (-3 units) - I thought Luck looked like damaged goods and the Broncos would just keep rolling.  I'm guess is the Broncos were a bit flat coming off their marquee win.  And that the Colts in looking to support Luck with a running game...called the type of game that allowed Luck to regain his form.  Colts are a tricky team this season.  I'm assuming Denver will bounce back.

SD -4 (-1 unit)  Didn't feel too strongly about this just figured Rivers over Cutler at home.  I think I shouldn't bother with 1 unit selections anymore...if I want to say something about it just make it 0 units and make my stupid point and move on.

And one more thing.

I wanted to go big on Carolina but chickened out.  For anybody else out there...doesn't it seem sometimes the picks your a bit scared of actually hit more often than the ones you feel are slam dunks?
