2008 Mock Draft UPDATED MONDAY, APRIL 30!
2008 NFL Draft Player Rankings now being posted!
-
Oakland Raiders: Jay Staggs, SS, UNLV
The Raiders need depth at safety in the wake of Derrick Gibson's departure.
-
Denver Broncos: Dan Santucci, G, Notre Dame
With Cooper Carlisle headed to Oakland, the Broncos now have only three guards on their roster.
-
New York Jets: Marquice Cole, CB, Northwestern
The Jets need some quality reserves at cornerback if they wish to combat all of New England's new receivers.
-
Cleveland Browns: Le'Ron McClain, FB, Alabama
Will compete with Lawrence Vickers and Alan Ricard for the starting fullback gig. I can't wait to hear Chris Berman have fun with this guy's name. "McClain! Shoot zee glass!"
-
Washington Redskins: Justin Medlock, K, UCLA
I'm not sure if the Redskins want to rely on Shaun Suisham as their field-goal kicker.
-
New England Patriots: Tarell Brown, CB, Texas
With tons of draft picks, the Patriots can afford to take a shot on Tarell Brown, a second-round talent who has been arrested twice this past year.
-
Miami Dolphins: Jon Abbate, MLB, Wake Forest
Could be Zach Thomas' successor. I've heard scouts compare Jon Abbate to Thomas.
-
Minnesota Vikings: Kerry Reed, WR, Michigan State
When Billy McMullen and Troy Williamson are your starters, you probably need to draft more than one receiver.
-
Houston Texans: Roderick Rogers, FS, Wisconsin
The Texans need help at both safety positions. Wouldn't be surprised if Roderick Rogers beat out C.C. Brown in camp.

-
Buffalo Bills: Jared Zabransky, QB, Boise State
The only quarterback behind J.P. Losman on the depth chart is Craig Nall.
-
Atlanta Falcons: Tony Franklin, FS, Virginia
Even if the Falcons get LaRon Landry, they'll need depth at safety. I wouldn't trust J.R. Reed if Chris Crocker got hurt.
-
San Francisco 49ers: Kyle Bissinger, DE/OLB
Outside linebacker isn't exactly a strength for the 49ers. Kyle Bissinger has tremendous upside - great speed (4.57 40) at his size (256 pounds).

-
Cincinnati Bengals: Mike Jones, G, Iowa
If Andrew Whitworth eventually moves to offensive tackle, the Bengals will need quality depth at guard.
-
Tennessee Titans: Enoka Lucas, C, Oregon
Someone at center for when Kevin Mawae calls it quits.
-
New York Giants: Nick Folk, K, Arizona
Jay Feely is gone, meaning the Giants will need to bring in a reliable kicker.
-
St. Louis Rams: Ramonce Taylor, RB, Texas College
Steven Jackson's backups are Travis Minor and Kay-Jay Harris.
-
Carolina Panthers: Dustin Fry, C, Clemson
A center fit for the zone-blocking scheme and a backup for Justin Hartwig.
-
Pittsburgh Steelers: Tyler Palko, QB, Pittsburgh
Just in case Ben Roethlisberger can't make it back from an unfortunate 2006 season.
-
Green Bay Packers: Corey White, FB, UAB
The Packers love fullbacks who can catch the ball, and Corey White's the top remaining fullback who can do that well.
-
Jacksonville Jaguars: David Patterson, DT, Ohio State
Jacksonville can improve its depth at defensive tackle, and David Patterson is a fourth-round prospect.
-
Dallas Cowboys: Antwan Barnes, OLB, Florida International
The Cowboys are pretty thin at outside linebacker.
-
Kansas City Chiefs: Jesse Allen, FB, Virginia Tech
Larry Johnson's yards-per-carry average dropped by nearly a tenth in 2006. Part of the reason was Tony Richardson's absence. The Chiefs need a strong blocker to lead the way for Johnson.
-
Seattle Seahawks: Jacob Ford, DE, Central Arkansas
Another defensive end for the Seahawks, who have only three on their roster.
-
Denver Broncos: Marvin Mitchell, MLB, Tennessee
With Al Wilson gone, depth at middle linebacker is a must.
-
Miami Dolphins: C.J. Gaddis, CB, Clemson
Another corner for the Dolphins, who have just four on their depth chart.
-
Dallas Cowboys: Brandon Pace, K, Virginia Tech
I know Jerry Jones vowed never spend on another kicker, but with two sixth-round picks, I think he can afford to do so.
-
Philadelphia Eagles: Kevin Payne, FS, Louisiana-Monroe
A very underrated free safety who could become Brian Dawkins' heir apparent.
-
New England Patriots: Blair Phillips, ILB, Oregon
More depth at linebacker. The Patriots cannot afford to be gassed against the Colts again.
-
Baltimore Ravens: Brandon Frye, OT, Virginia Tech
Baltimore needs all the help it can get on its offensive line.
-
Tennessee Titans: Jeff Rowe, QB, Nevada
A quality backup quarterback for Vince Young.
-
Washington Redskins: Jake Kuresa, G, BYU
With Derrick Dockery gone, the Redskins need support at guard.
-
Tennessee Titans: Derek Landri, DT, Notre Dame
Help for Tennessee's brittle defensive line.
-
Baltimore Ravens: Quinton Culberson, ILB, Mississippi State
There isn't much behind Ray Lewis and Bart Scott.
-
New England Patriots: Joe Newton, TE, Oregon State
How many picks do the Patriots have? Might as well take the best player available.
-
New England Patriots: Ryan Glasper, SS, Boston College
The Patriots love smart, team players like Ryan Glasper. Some dub him the next Rodney Harrison.
For Ryan Glasper's interview, click Here.
-
Seattle Seahawks: Dan Mozes, C, West Virginia
A solid center behind Chris Spencer could be useful.
