2008 Mock Draft UPDATED MONDAY, APRIL 30!

2008 NFL Draft Player Rankings now being posted!

  1. Oakland Raiders: Adam Koets, OT, Oregon State
Wouldn't hurt to add depth to the offensive line this late in the draft.

  2. Dallas Cowboys: Zac Taylor, QB, Nebraska
Could beat out Matt Baker for the No. 3 spot on the depth chart, eventually taking over as Tony Romo's backup once Brad Johnson retires.

  3. Cleveland Browns: Martin Teal, WR, Troy State
Another receiver for a pretty thin corps. I have a feeling tons of wide outs will be drafted in Round 7, as teams will be looking for the next Marques Colston.

  4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andrew Wellock, K, Eastern Michigan
Even though he hit a 63-yarder, Matt Bryant was just 6-of-11 from beyond 40 last year.

  5. Arizona Cardinals: David Lofton, FS, Stanford
Secondary depth for a receiver-friendly NFC West.

  6. Washington Redskins: Syvelle Newton, WR, South Carolina
Brandon Lloyd and Antwaan Randle El just didn't live up to expectations last year.

  7. Minnesota Vikings: Mark Fenton, C, Colorado
Minnesota doesn't have much depth on its offensive line.

  8. Houston Texans: Steve Breaston, WR, Michigan
Another player who can only help an arid receiving corps.

  9. Miami Dolphins: Adam Podlesh, P, Maryland
Donnie Jones left for St. Louis, so the Dolphins need a new punter.

  10. New Orleans Saints: Cory Anderson, FB, Tennessee
A quality backup for Mike Karney.

  11. Chicago Bears: Mike Otto, OT, Purdue
Chicago's second-string offensive line could be improved.

  12. Buffalo Bills: David Ball, WR, New Hampshire
Buffalo needs to find a quality No. 2 receiver to play across from Lee Evans.

  13. Tennessee Titans: Stan White Jr., FB, Ohio State
Will compete with Ahmard Hall for the starting fullback gig.

  14. New York Giants: Clark Harris, TE, Rutgers
A new backup for Jeremy Shockey.

  15. St. Louis Rams: Corey Hilliard, OT, Oklahoma State
The Rams definitely could have used depth at offensive tackle last season.

  16. Carolina Panthers: Matt Spaeth, TE, Minnesota
It wouldn't hurt to acquire a backup for Greg Olsen, Zach Miller, or whomever the Panthers draft as their long-term tight end.

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Mkristo Bruce, DE, Washington State
More personnel for Pittsburgh's new 4-3 defense.

  18. Green Bay Packers: Keith Jackson, DT, Arkansas
I'd like to see the Packers add better reserves at defensive tackle.

  19. Jacksonville Jaguars: Drisan James, WR, Boise State
Another quick receiver for Jacksonville. Drisan James ran a 4.40 at his Pro Day.

  20. Cincinnati Bengals: Chris Leak, QB, Florida
The Bengals have only two quarterbacks on their depth chart.

  21. Kansas City Chiefs: A.J. Davis, CB, N.C. State
Kansas City barely has any quality depth at corner.

  22. Seattle Seahawks: Jesse Daniels, SS, LSU
I'll say this again: The Seahawks need to make sure they're not signing defensive backs off the street come December and January.

  23. Denver Broncos: Brandon McDonald, CB, Memphis
Even with the addition of Dre Bly, the Broncos still could use some quality depth at corner.

  24. Dallas Cowboys: Zach Latimer, ILB, Oklahoma
Another inside linebacker for a team that has only three.

  25. Green Bay Packers: DeAndre Jackson, CB, Iowa State
Al Harris turns 33 in December and may not be that effective much longer.

  26. Philadelphia Eagles: Victor DeGrate, DE, Oklahoma State
Jerome McDougle, Jevon Kearse and Darren Howard are all question marks at defensive end, given each of their injury history.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Kenny Scott, CB, Georgia Tech
A youth movement at corner is a must; Aaron Glenn (34), Anthony Henry (30) and Terence Newman (29 in September) aren't getting any younger.

  28. Miami Dolphins: Matt McGlothlin, DE, Tennessee
Miami, with its 3-4 hybrid defense, needs a tough player up front to help stop the run.

  29. Buffalo Bills: Jonny Harline, TE, BYU
J.P. Losman could use a potent tight end.

  30. San Diego Chargers: Justin Rogers, DE/OLB, SMU
More linebacking depth for the Chargers.

  31. Chicago Bears: Joe Porter, CB, Rutgers
Chicago has only four corners listed on its roster.

  32. Indianapolis Colts: Jarrett Hicks, WR, Texas Tech
Once again, I must note that the Colts have absolutely nothing behind Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne.

  33. Green Bay Packers: Jayson Swain, WR, Tennessee
Another team with depth issues at wide out.

  34. Atlanta Falcons: Kyle Young, C, Fresno State
Atlanta has indicated that it is looking for larger offensive linemen. It doesn't get any bigger than Kyle Young.

  35. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kareem Brown, DT, Miami
Depth is needed at defensive tackle in the wake of the Anthony McFarland trade.

  36. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: J.D. Nelson, FS, Oregon
I question the quality of depth behind Will Allen at free safety.

  37. New England Patriots: Adam Graessle, P, Pittsburgh
Will compete with 36-year-old Josh Miller for the punting job.

  38. St. Louis Rams: Stephen Nicholas, OLB, South Florida
The more help the Rams get for their front seven, the better.

  39. St. Louis Rams: Ola Dagunduro, DT, Nebraska
See the previous pick for explanation.

  40. New York Giants: Jemalle Cornelius, WR, Florida
Wouldn't hurt to add a speedy receiver to the roster.

  41. Jacksonville Jaguars: Duane Coleman, CB, Clemson
The more corners to cover Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne, the better.

  42. Jacksonville Jaguars: Desmond Bishop, MLB, California
A quality reserve for Mike Peterson.

  43. Cincinnati Bengals: Antwan Applewhite, DE, San Diego State
The Bengals don't exactly have the greatest depth on their defensive line.

  44. Oakland Raiders: Brian Daniels, G, Colorado
Oakland might as well spend every late pick on offensive linemen. That's how dreadful the front was last year.

  45. Detroit Lions: Rashad Barksdale, SS, Albany
Mr. Irrelevant will provide help at safety for the Lions.
