Round 2

33. Panthers: Graham Barton, G/OT, Duke

With Bill Belichick as the head coach in this scenario, the Panthers build the trenches and protect Bryce Young. Graham Barton will move to the interior with the ability to play Tackle in a pinch.

34. Bears: J.T. Tuimoloau, DE, Ohio State

*TRADE: Bears trade with Patriots

The Bears receive this pick after moving from 1 to 3 in round 1. They added Newton to play DT and now add JT Tuimoloau to play opposite Montez Sweat.

35. Cardinals: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo

The Cardinals desperately need to add talent to the CB position so they take Quinyon Mitchell.

36. Commanders: Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota

Mike Macdonald selects Tyler Nubin to play the ball-hawking Safety spot.

37. Chargers: T'Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas

Continuing the theme of adding big, tough, nasty players, Harbaugh adds T'Vondre Sweat to beef up the defensive line.

38. Titans: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia

After helping protect Will Levis, Brian Callahan selects Ladd McConkey to bring some athleticism and route running ability to the WR position.

39. Giants: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

After missing a QB in Round 1, the Giants celebrate the fact Bo Nix is still here.

40. Commanders: Bralen Trice, DE, Washington

The Commanders add a big passer rusher in Bralen Trice to continue building the defense.

41. Packers: Javon Bullard, CB/S, Georgia

Similarly to Terrion Arnold, Javon Bullard is a scheme/position-flexible player. Bullard will be moved to a Safety/Slot Corner role in Green Bay.

42. Ravens: Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina

*TRADE: Ravens trade with Vikings

After trading back with the Vikings, the Ravens select Xavier Legette. The big, fast, physical WR reminds me of AJ Brown.

43. Bears: Prospect not selected

*TRADE: Bears trade with Falcons

By trading down in the 1st round, the Bears received a nice haul and can reach a little on a high-upside interior lineman line Jackson Powers-Johnson. Look for the athletic Center to compete right away for the starting spot.

44. Raiders: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

The Raiders add Kamari Lassiter to the Cornerback room to defend against the high-octane offenses in the AFC West.

45. Saints: Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson

The Saints add more trench help in Ruke Orhorhoro to add youth next to Bryan Bresee.

46. Colts: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

The Colts add the lanky AD Mitchell to add explosiveness to the offense in Anthony Richardson's sophomore season.

47. Giants: Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas

The Giants cannot rely on Darren Waller at TE so they add Ja'Tavion Sanders to the position. An offense of Bo Nix throwing to Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, Jalin Hyatt, Ja'Tavion Sanders, and Darren Waller with Saquon Barkley in the backfield can push the Cowboys and Eagles for the top spot in the NFC East.

48. Jaguars: Kalen King, CB, Penn State

Jacksonville needs to continue adding talent to the secondary, enter the feisty Kalen King.

49. Bengals: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

Even after adding Brock Bowers, the Bengals add Keon Coleman due to the amount of value at this point in the draft. I see Coleman similarly to Tee Higgins in both skill set and draft value.

50. Eagles: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami

The Eagles continue reloading their secondary with the ball-hawking Kamren Kinchens. Kevin Byard isn't the player he used to be in Tennessee but he is a great mentor for Kinchens.

51. Steelers: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M

Toward the end of the season, the Steelers were dressing players they picked up off the street to play Inside Linebacker. With the uncertainty of how quickly Kwon Alexander and Cole Holcomb can recover from their injuries, Pittsburgh selects the athletic Edgerrin Cooper as the first Off-Ball Linebacker of the draft.

52. Broncos: Ja'Lynn Polk, WR, Washington

*TRADE: Broncos trade with Rams

The Broncos now have a 2nd round pick after trading back with the Rams in Round 1. Sean Payton adds Ja'Lynn Polk as a talented WR to build his offense.

53. Eagles: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU

Philadelphia adds youth to the offensive line in Kingsley Suamataia. With Jason Kelce's retirement, look for Cam Jurgens to take over at Center, leaving Tyler Steen to compete with Kingsley Suamataia for the starting Right Guard position.

54. Browns: Adisa Isaac, DE, Penn State

Depending on how the draft falls, I would not be surprised to see the Browns target a QB in the draft. The returns of the Deshaun Watson trade have not lived up to what they gave up in draft capital and salary cap. With no QBs available within a tradable range, the Browns grab an athletic pass rusher to play behind/opposite Myles Garrett.

55. Dolphins: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State

55. Dolphins: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State

Miami adds the athletic Payton Wilson to roam at LB for Vic Fangio's aggressive defense.

56. Cowboys: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan

The Cowboys continue to beef up in the trenches after being pushed around by the Packers in the playoffs.

57. Buccaneers: Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri

The Bucs add some much-needed youth and talent at CB in Ennis Rakestraw Jr.

58. Packers: Blake Corum, RB, Michigan

The Packers select Blake Corum to replace AJ Dillon as Aaron Jones's new RB duo.

59. Texans: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

Houston adds an athletic 3-Tech in Byron Murphy to push the pocket up the middle. The Texans's defensive line could be mentioned in the same likes as the 49ers if these young players can grow together.

60. Chiefs: Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama

The Chiefs add another WR in Jermaine Burton. The depth chart will look very different than in 2023.

61. Bills: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

The Bills also add firepower to their offense by selecting Xavier Worthy to stretch the field and take pressure off Stefon Diggs.

62. Lions: McKinnley Jackson, DT, Texas A&M

After adding Chop Robinson, Detroit adds some beef to the interior in McKinnley Jackson.

63. 49ers: Brandon Dorlus, DT, Oregon

The 49ers understand they cannot win games playing from behind. This means the defense must continue to dominate. Brandon Dorlus's long frame could work well in San Francisco as I can see them using Dorlus like they did Arik Armstead.

64. Ravens: T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State

Baltimore adds the long CB in TJ Tampa to continue adding youth and athleticism to an injury-plagued CB room.
