Round 1

Picks 17-32
16. Seahawks: Troy Fautanu, G/OT, Washington

Keeping the local player in state. Fauranu fills a huge need as their line got decimated this offseason. And with Carroll gone who knows how their drafts go.

17. Jaguars: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama

Could see wr going here also but the class is real deep and they can get one of equal value later on. Arnold could make an argument for best corner in the draft class. So Jags grab one here and help a secondary they blew Kate gates for the Jags last year.

18. Bengals: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

They lost Dj Reader have have a big hole there. Getting any kind of oline help also makes sense. But Murphy fills immediate need and helps a line that needs some toughness.

19. Commanders: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

TRADE ALERT--commanders send pick 23 and 100 for pick 19 and they get the Qb they need and jump at the chance to guarantee Nix as I feel the drop off after him is quite large.

20. Steelers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

Steelers get a large man to help protect one of their future qbs. Grabbing Powers-johnson who excels in all aspects brings stabilization to a young oline.

21. Dolphins: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa

This seems like a McDaniel draft pick a guy that will make some tabloids. They lost Howard and need someone. DeJean is a like a Swiss army type can play multiple positions.

22. Eagles: Dallas Turner, OLB, Alabama

The pass rushers for the eagles are getting old and Fletcher Cox and Kelce retired so replacing them is going to happen. But getting turner here helps replace Reddick, and gives Nolan smith a counterpart.

Plus they have Dallas Goedert so pretty cool to have both on one team.

24. Cowboys: Jer'Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois

I just don't know whose cowboys DT is. All I know is they have Parsons and nothing else. Getting a premier DT this late is only going to help. Oline I could also see being an option here.

25. Packers: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia

Packers only legit olineman is Elgton Jenkins. They lost Bahktiari, and Runyun. Mims played primarily RT in college, and may try to swing to left either way packers get some much needed help at the line.

26. Buccaneers: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama

Secondary is a need after letting Davis go. I could see linebacker here also with White leaving but Cooper, and James seem too early to grab here. Getting McKistrey helps boast a strong secondary something Bowles needs for his defense.

27. Cardinals: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

The AZ cards go 2 wrs in 1st rd. Thus gives AZ a 1 2 combo most teams love. Harrison Jr is all around dominant and Worthy can fly as fast as anyone out there. Giving Murray another weapon is a must. Latu, or Chop could go here and help Arizona horrible defense. But with Bills, Ravens, 49ers, and Chiefs coming up with wr needs and penchants for speedster AZ jumps them all amd gets this weapon.

28. Bills: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA

Getting a pass rush seems like Buffalo needs the resigned Espeneza but Latu is a much higher ceiling rusher.

29. Lions: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

Detroit has done a a nice job fixing the holes on defense. Getting Goff a more reliable #2 wr is a must. Williams has been suspended or injured a lot so who knows what his path is. Getting Mitchell gives Detroit a large target to go with St Brown, LA Porte, and Gibbs.

30. Ravens: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma

Guyton is a massive man at 6'7" and a former Oklahoma lineman plug him on right side and let him work. Corner is also what I was thinking king and maybe Wiggins or Tampa here to help there as well.

31. Raiders: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington

TRADE ALERT--Raiders send picks 44, 148, and a 2026 4th pick. 49ers are at a perfect spot for a trade back, and find the Raiders looking to.move up. I know they brought in Minshew and and O'Connell but I think Pierce knows neither are the answer.

32. Chiefs: T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State

They let Sneed go and his excellent corner play helped them win a other ring last year. Getting a 6'2" corner to replace the 6'1" Sneed is a good start. Pairing along McDuffie gives chiefs cheap young options for next few years. Could also see Nate Wiggins, Chop Robinson, McConkey,
