Round 1
40% certain. GREAT VALUE PICK. Arnold played the best competition by far between he and Mitchell that cannot go unnoticed. Arnold's production wasagainst the elite calibure QB WR tandems in college football while Mitchell was excellent as well he played ball for Toledo while Arnold resides with Bama. Roll Tide and its a no brainer here who regardless of measurable should be picked first between the two. Arnold is day 1 starter ready while Mitchell has probably slightly higher potential as a future premier shutdown corner and preformed better in drills. Safe play is Arnold goes a few picks ahead of Mitchell and because of crazy run of QB/WR/OL... both fall way further down the board then they would in any other draft...both are top 15 selections with Arnold being worthy of top 10. Instead falls right into the Jags lap at 17.
40% certain. GREAT VALUE PICK. Could go as high as 11 to Vikings. BPA.
*TRADE ALERT* 50% certain. Familiar trade partners do it again and this time the Rams get paid well to let the Lions move up for a new era Lions esque player and the best DL available here. This guy has the best back story in the draft, is as tough as they cone mentally and physically and is going to be one heck of a player for years to come. This would tremendously upgrade the Lions front 7 and may be the missing piece to a team that was leading for a good portion of an NFC Championship game that they could have won. This guy's sheer will and determination might be the point differential and swagger needed to break through the Super Bowl barrier.
*TRADE ALERT* 25% certain. Steelers move out of round 1 in a deep draft and decide to pair Wilson with a familiar weapon in Courtland Sutton and swap round 1 picks and Steelers give two round 3 picks this year and 2025 round 3 pick to allow Payton to begin rebuilding with his new potential franchise QB. Bo Nix, newly acquired Zack Wilson and Jared Stidham make an above average young QB trio for the QB whisperer to work with and maybe one of the 3 when its all said and done become Drew Brees lite.
60% certain. *GREAT VALUE PICK* A top 15 prospect. Some injury concern but a great pick nonetheless especially after losing there starting FS/SS Deshon Elliott to the Steelers.
60% certain. *GREAT VALUE PICK* Top 12 prospect falls right in their laps. Philly cant run to the podium fast enough for the Oregon State Gaurd who can start all over the line and be an impact day 1. Run Saquan Run. Unleash All Day 2.0 in Philly.
100% certain. *STEAL OF THE DRAFT #2* In OG Pats fashion the Patriots evade drafting and ruining Boom/Bust maybe a year away Maye to land him in a better situation with the Vikings. While drafting two immediate impact starters one on offense and the other defense. Nabers/Mitchell and a 2025 first round pick is an A++ haul for a roster in desperate need of a rebuild and passing on Maye who is intriguing but surrounded with question marks and too risky a pick to mess up on at 3rd overall at this point. The Pats find a way to begin the rebuild the Patriot way and get two future superstars plus an extra rd1 pick in 2025. In addition to getting the highest first round grade in terms of selection value and prospect drafted look for further quality decision making at the end of round 2 via trade up or at the top of the 3rd round with the selection of the intriguing Spencer Rattler out of South Carolina to give them an above average low risk stable of QBs to work with until they draft a franchise QB when they're roster and team are actually ready for one in 2025... and who knows Rattler might be the next Brock Purdy or Russell Wilson going later but outshining there draft position. One of Brissett/Zappe/Rattler to Nabers could make one of those 3 QBs look like a franchise QB.
50% certain. GREAT VALUE PICK. Pro-Day was incredible. Will be a Pro Bowl CB ala Patrick Peterson on this team in particular because this is the perfect marriage of player and scheme.
75% certain *if he is still on the board here* Lost Diggs best player available with tremendous upside falls right into there lap at 28. Could go as high as 15.
25% certain. The Rams are a trade friendly franchise and even though they havent had a first round pick in years... they trade down and collect more picks in a deep draft while selecting the best DT available. Newton is the perfect pick at 29 overall for the right team after the Rams saw the greatest defensive player in the post 2000s, Aaron Donald, hang up his cleats this offseason.
50% certain. This screams destiny and will be the perfect environment for Mims to develop into his frame and become a 10 year pro bowl OT. Great marriage of player and team and fills an immediate roster need.
25% certain. Could go a bunch of directions here. Would be fun to see the fastest player in combine history play in Kyle Shanahan's offense. Great fit of scheme and ability. This speedster adds a dynamic much like the team that beat them in OT of the Super Bowl last year has with newly acquired Hollywood Brown and had with current Dolphins WR1 and real life version of "The Flash" in Tyreek Hill.
20% Certain. *TRADE ALERT* 25% Certain. Commanders have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds and the Chiefs with less pressing needs want to trade out and collect extra picks in a deep talent pool in rounds 1-3...Commanders need a day 1 starter at OL to follow drafting their new franchise QB. In this deal Andy Reid and co gain a TON of draft capital from a team in OL peril. The Commanders in mission critical for OL help and have the draft capital to trade back up into the top half of round 1 and get the baddest OT prospect on the planet. This guy is 6'6'' 360lbs of brick wall and will bolster an OL in desperate need of his skill set size and services. Chiefs gain round 2 picks (40) and a round 3 pick in a deep top half of the talent pool in 2024. Great trade for both teams.
