Round 1
It appears that this will be Stroud or Bryce Young and the more I look the more it seems that Stroud will be the pick. I think Stroud will be a solid starting QB, but Young is a star to me.
Richardson is a combine star and a physical freak of nature and some team will reach for him. I really wouldn’t take him around the first ten picks, but it will happen. They need to draft Stroud or Young, but here I’ll go with Richardson.
Some team will trade a lot for this pick to draft a QB, no matter which of the four are still there, and although Young is my favorite prospect in the draft, I can see the Texans saying no to him. This is not the Cardinals picking, it is some team like Vegas, or Tennessee.
Some people go nuts trying to make mock drafts, but stop, it’s not that hard to see, 4 QB’s are likely being picked 1-4. The Colts will likely see will Levis sitting there and take a chance. Also, it may be
a non Indianapolis team drafting..
Anderson is my favorite non Young prospect and this very, very young Seattle team could use a star on defense and Anderson could be a superstar defensive end..
The Lions could use a CB, a DT, a LB and a DE, but here CB makes sense. The son of the former Steeler star was fantastic at Penn State and would give them a gifted young corner to go with the free agents they just signed.
This would be my favorite option as a Bears fan. The Bears need two starters still at defensive end and Wilson fits. The Bears need sacks and Wilson could get a lot of them. The Bears also need one more DE, a DT, a CB, a C and a RT..
Carter based on talent could simply be first in this draft, but with so many QB’s and team issues with Carter, some team will get a fantastic talent at a bargain. Atlanta here would be able to put Carter, Calais Campbell and Grady Jarrett on the field at the same time.
With no QB to take and a big need at CB, Gonzalez makes a lot of sense. The Oregon corner could step in and really help. Paris Johnson and Peter Skoronski are candidates too based on their needs on the offensive line.
The Eagles lost Miles Sanders and need help at RB, so with two first rounders they can afford to draft a RB, and the Texas product is considered the number one RB in awhile. He is an elite runner and receiver and can help the NFC champions a lot.
The Titans are are one the teams that want a QB, but if there isn’t a way for them to get one, adding to an offensive line that has lost a lot of talent is smart. Johnson should be able to step into a starting role.
JSN quietly reaffirmed himself as the number one WR in the draft and there isn’t a team, aside from maybe the Packers that needs WR help more than the Texans. He and the QB they choose can become the foundation of the offense.
There are a lot of attractive options, but considering Aaron Rodgers will probably be their signal caller next season they could use one more big time WR. Johnson has elite physical ability and he and Garrett Wilson could be a fantastic tandem.
Skoranski has short arms, which probably means he cannot be an NFL tackle. Regardless, the Patriots know how to utilize versatility and could use offensive line help.
The Packers lost Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb and need a WR and Addison could fit with Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson to give them an excellent trio of receivers.
I’ve been mocking an offensive tackle or guard to them for a long time, but if an athletic beast like Murphy who can improvs their defense is there, I can see them taking him.
