Round 1

Picks 1-16 Picks 17-32
1.
Fernando Mendoza , QB , Indiana
The only pick I'm sure of.
2.
Jets Jets:
David Bailey , DE , Texas Tech
The Jets ranked dead last in pressure rate last season and 31st in sacks (26), and now Jermaine Johnson is gone. EDGE newcomers Joseph Ossai and Kingsley Enagbare are rotational guys.

I keep going back and forth between Bailey and Arvell Reese here. Final answer: Bailey. He's ready to hit the ground running for the Jets, who for some reason think they can contend.
3.
Arvell Reese , LB , Ohio State
ARI finished 27th in pressure rate and 28th in sacks last season. At LB, it's tumbleweeds beyond mediocre starter Mack Wilson. Reese can help on both fronts. Another 'tweener for ARI.
4.
Jeremiyah Love , RB , Notre Dame
Vegas hasn't budged an inch off this pick since open. This organization has always been at it's best when featuring a star RB.
5.
Jordyn Tyson , WR , Arizona State
Tyson's personal workout on Friday must have eased any concerns about his health, because Vegas odds suddenly have him 2nd-most likely (just behind Styles) to pop off here.
6.
Spencer Fano , OT , Utah
Another versatile piece to add to CLE's O-line rebuild. Has the athleticism for LT.
7.
Sonny Styles , LB , Ohio State
WAS seems destined to acquire Brandon Aiyuk, so no Carnell Tate here.

Dan Quinn wants to get younger and longer on defense. Styles would wear the green dot and perfectly complement blitzing SAM LB Leo Chanel. Thanks for stopping by, Frankie Luvu.
8.
Carnell Tate , WR , Ohio State
Another viable weapon for Tyler Shough. The perfect complement to Chris Olave.
9.
Mansoor Delane , CB , LSU
KC's CB depth chart is looking rough. Not good when DEN is suddenly loaded at WR. Delane - possibly the only CB1 in this year's crop - could step in and move Nohl Williams to CB2.
10.
Vega Ioane , G , Penn State
Nothing fancy - just a meat and potatoes pick. Immediate starter at LG and potential Pro Bowler. Nice knowing ya, Jon Runyan.
11.
Francis Mauigoa , OT , Miami
Tone-setting pick as MIA attempts to leave behind it's finesse image.

Oft-injured mediocrity Austin Jackson is in the final year of his conract. MIA was 29th in run block win rate last season. The bulldozing Mauigoa makes sense here.
12.
Caleb Downs , S , Ohio State
As with CeeDee lamb, DAL goes BPA over more pressing needs.
13.
Rams Rams:
Blake Miller , OT , Clemson
Clean pick. An immediate replacement for RT Rob Havenstein. Warren McClendon is ideally a swing tackle - to rely on him all season could torpedo LA's Super Bowl chances.
14.
Rueben Bain Jr. , DE , Miami
I mean, we all know Bain is destined to be a Raven, right?
15.
Caleb Lomu , OT , Utah
TRADE! PIT trades 1.21, 3.76 and 4.135 to TB for 1.15

With the top tier of EDGE rushers off the board, the Bucs look to move down to a more palatable value range for a LB. I can see TB flipping a day 2 pick to the Giants for Kayvon Thibodeaux, or maybe even Alex Highsmith.

With the OTs popping off quickly, PIT moves up to snag a potential replacement for LT Broderick Jones, whose career is in jeopardy due to spinal injury.
16.
Jets Jets:
Makai Lemon , WR , USC
Along with Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell, the Jets may suddenly have three quility, complementary WRs.
