Titans Cards Trade

This looks at affect of this trade on the rest of the draft. I had just completed my latest draft on 4/3 using best available with position of some need as basis. Interesting to see the "ripple" effect of a couple of changes. This is only first two rounds. I assume Tennesee gives Ari their second round pick with swap of 1st rounders. In notes I show pick from my original draft. Where affected, I had team pick next best available player for that same position.

Round 1

Picks 1-16 Picks 17-31 Round 2
1.
C.J. Stroud , QB , Ohio State
Best pick for them, could be Young
2.
Bryce Young , QB , Alabama
Maso menos. Either QB works for the Texans
3.
Will Levis , QB , Kentucky
So here is the trade. I assume that Arizona gets Titans 1st and 2nd pick of this draft plus some more. Titans get Levis because he will be ready quicker than Richardson. Note that my original draft had Arizona taking Will Anderson
4.
Will Anderson , DE , Alabama
In my other draft, Colts took Levis after Cards take Anderson. Now they take best player in Will Anderson.. which also fills a need. This one of two big disruptions in the draft that causes ripples downstream. The other question is, where do they get their QB? Trade for Jackson? Stay tuned to Round 2 of the draft
5.
Jalen Carter , DT , Georgia
Even though there are off field issues, he is too good to pass on. And if Seahawks can handle Marshon Lynch, well this is a cakewalk. No affect of trade
6.
Christian Gonzalez , CB , Oregon
While I don't dismiss Walt and Charlies point about Lions getting Bijan here, I feel they will go where they need help and get a player that affects plays every down No affect of trade
7.
Anthony Richardson , QB , Florida
I agree with Walt and Charlie. He is a perfect fit for the Raiders. I had him going there before. No affect of trade
8.
Tyree Wilson , DE , Texas Tech
Atlanta gets DE help but he is one of two best players available. No affect of trade
9.
Peter Skoronski , OT/G , Northwestern
While it may be smart for Bears to take Bijan here as the other BPA, they want to keep Fields safe. Here is best OL available. No affect of trade
10.
Bijan Robinson , RB , Texas
Now comes the nightmare. The Superbowl champs get richer by getting one of the top 5 non-QB's at a position that they can really utilize. Imagine how effective Hurts will be now with Bijan going one way and he is going the other. This oughta be illegal No affect of trade
Here is the first ripple. I had Titans taking Paris Johnston here, but Arizona needs pass rush in the worst way. Here is best Edge rusher available
12.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba , WR , Ohio State
Texans had no WR before Brandin Cooks trade. They are desperate for good WR. Note that they could take Addison also. Sure both are skinny and Jaxon has had hamstring issues. Wasn't Randy Moss slender and have similar hamstring problems? No affect of trade
13.
Paris Johnson , OT , Ohio State
OK, 2nd ripple. I had Jets getting Broderick Jones but they need a Tackle, oh look Paris Johnson is now available. Easy pick
I don't think that Belechick is smart enough to actually draft him, but most other GM's would at this point. no affect of trade
15.
Jordan Addison , WR , USC
Green Bay finally gets a good receiver for Aaron in the 1st round. What, he wants to play for the Jetsnow? oh, too bad. No affect of trade
16.
Michael Mayer , TE , Notre Dame
The same way that Kelce helps Mahomes, this guy can help Sam Howell. Actually, Jacoby Brissett can help the Redmanders win 8-9 games this year and for the future. No affect of trade
