Round 1
Picks 1-16
Picks 17-32
Mendoza has similar preparation traits to Raiders minority owner and G.O.A.T. Tom Brady, He loves the process. He wants to study film to crack the code. Fernando Mania seems like a done deal in Sin City.
Jets need an Edge rusher. It's between Reese and Bailey. I'll go Reese.
3.
The rumor is that GM Monte Ossenfort either wants David Bailey or wants to trade down. However, Cardinals' owner Michael Bidwell could veto him. Bidwell wants Jerimiyah Love to create some excitement in the fan base and help sell tickets. If Cards keep the pick, it sounds like it's Love. Exciting and new. Come aboard. We're expecting you! The Love Boat, we'll be making another run!
I don't think Robert Saleh wants an offensive player with his first pick. My best guess is this pick comes down to Bailey, Reese or Styles. In this mock Bailey falls and the Titans scoop him up.
The Giants could use a WR with Malik Nabers recovering from a torn ACL. This might be early for Tyson, but if they go WR here they get their pick of the litter and then can address best available at pick 10. NY did something similar in 2022 when they took Kayveon Thibideaux before Evan Neal.
Saints could go several directions here, including the possibility they trade up with Arizona. In this mock I think they go up over Washington and get their guy. And with the departure of Rasheed Shaheed, Tate makes sense.
7.
Washington wants Jeremiyah Love, but it seems unlikely that Love falls to them. Sonny Styles could be the pick if he slips.
Browns need a LT and want to trade down. this accomplishes both goals.
KC is another team who could trade up for an edge rusher. GM Brett Veach said they have several holes on their DL. That along with RT, and CB. In this mock they stick and pick. I'll go with Rueben Bain.
Giants could go defense after using first pick on WR. Downs makes sense here.
New Dolphins GM Jon Eric-Sullivan believes in building from the inside-out. Mauigoa is a good building block for a team in a complete rebuild.
If Delane falls, I think Dallas will scoop him up. He has a tight relationship with the Cowboys DB coach. CB also fills a need with a team that needs a lot of help on defense.
The Lions have a gaping hole at RT. They believe in physical smashmouth ball. OT Penei Sewell can move over to LT and Proctor can slide in at RT and restore the roar in the Motor City.
Ravens usually go best available, but they have a glaring hole on their offensive line. Ioane is considered one of the surest prospects in the class.
LT Broderick Jones' injury setback, could force the Steelers to be aggressive in targeting a LT. In this mock, they move up and grab Monroe Freeling who can help stabilize an area of concern.
The departure of Sauce Gardner leaves a gaping hole at CB. Colton Hood seems like a good fit in Aaron Glenn's defense.
