Round 1
Picks 1-16
Picks 17-32
LV drafts a proven winner that possesses all of the traits, both physically and mentally, that it takes to succeed at the next level. He is Kirk Cousins if Kirk Cousins was a Heisman Trophy winning National Champion. All the better that the Raiders signed Cousins this offseason to help mentor Mendoza.
I am taking the bait and buying that it is in fact "something" that the Jets cancelled their pre-draft visit with David Bailey. Reese is simply too good of a prospect to pass up. At 6'4" 241lbs running a 4.46 40 at the combine, he quite frankly is a freak. If Reese develops we are talking about a Micah Parsons type player.

Arizona opts to stay at 3 and take the best player on their board, despite EDGE not being their most pressing need. There is a lot of smoke around Jeremiah Love at this spot, however I just don't see the fit after signing Tyler Allgeier this offseason and still having holes all over this roster. Bailey is as polished a player as this draft has to offer and can step right in and contribute.
*Trade* Cleveland moves up two spots, while also giving up their third round pick (70) to take Carnell Tate. There is smoke around the Giants wanting a receiver to pair opposite of Malik Nabers, so Cleveland takes no chances and moves up to get their guy. Tate's speed does not wow (4.53 40 time), but this is a guy that can go up and get the football and will give whoever the Browns go with at QB a downfield threat to pair with Jerry Juedy.
With John Harbaugh now running the team, will he look to add an offensive weapon for his young QB, or will he look for his QB of the future for his defense. My bet is he snags Styles to be his next Ray Lewis in NY.
The Titans move down 2 spots and still get the best player on their board in this scenario. While it may not seem likely that Jeremiah Love falls to 6, I believe that when we look back in hindsight it won't be shocking to see a running back slide out of the top 5. Nothing helps a young QB quite like an electric running game so if Tennessee is truly invested in Cam Ward succeeding, they should jump at the chance to take Love here.
7.
Washington is definitely in the Jeremiah Love sweepstakes however I do not believe they have the draft capital to make a move up the board for him. So with him now off the board they could look to move back, or they could simply move onto their next best available. Simply put, Downs has been the best player on the field the past 2 seasons at Ohio State. Perhaps the Commanders "luck" into this pick.
If it wasn't for a spotty injury history Tyson would likely be the first WR off the board this year. He was electric at ASU in 2024, where the Sun Devils won the Big 12 and were a play or two away from knocking off Texas in the CFP. Again, durability is the main question mark here. If he can put those behind him he will give New Orleans another weapon for their young QB.
By now we've all heard the concerns about Bain's arm length as well as the car crash he was involved in prior to last season. Despite those red flags I think the Chiefs jump at the chance to take him here. While Bain's measurables say one thing, his tape says another. And an organization like Kansas City deserves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to drafting players like this. I believe they will find ways to put Bain in positions to succeed and maximize his potential.
This is a player the Giants will consider taking at #5, and he falls to them at #10. This would be a surprise if we make it this far without an OLineman going, but with the way the first 9 picks break in this scenario I do believe this could happen. He would slot in at RT for the Giants for the next 10 years.
A little bit of a surprise pick here considering McCoy did not play this past season due to injury. The reality is however, if he had been eligible for the draft last year he would have likely been the 1st CB off the board. And there is precedent for a CB being taken this high coming off injury. The Texans took Derek Stingley #3 overall in 2022, and I'd say that pick worked out pretty well for Houston.
Corners go back to back here as Dallas lands Delane with the first of their two first round picks. Simply put, the Cowboys need a lot of help on defense, particularly in the secondary. This is about as NFL ready a prospect you will find, having 40 career starts under his belt as well as being a unanimous All-American and 1st Team SEC player this past season.
The Rams sprint to the podium to announce this pick. Time is ticking in LA with Matt Stafford at QB and as we've seen the past two seasons the Rams are SO CLOSE to getting back to the Super Bowl. An again Devonta Adams and offseason drama around Puka Nacua make this an easy choice for the Rams.
After losing their all pro center to free agency this offseason, Baltimore adds about as close to a "sure thing" to the interior of their O-Line with this pick. The Ravens are still going to be a run first offense and they need to stick to that identity. This pick ensures they do.
15.
Tampa would be surprised that a run of O-Lineman hasn't already taken place and I believe they would pivot to taking the best available here. Fano can play multiple positions across the line and would provide the Bucs with flexibility within a group that was largely inconsistent last season.
Whether the Jets do or don't commit to Garrett Wilson long term, they could still use a receiver like Cooper who fits nicely into the slot. And while the Jets are not ready to win right now, they still need to add pieces on offense that will be in place if and when they do find their QB of the future.
