Round 2

33. Bengals: Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State

After taking Thomas in the 1st Rd, Cincy worked the phones all night to try and get another 1st for Higgins. Finding no takers the next morning Carolina agreed to send them pick #33 for him. The Bengals take late riser Fiske who really showed off during the pre-draft process.

34. Patriots: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU

New England follows Washington's lead and takes a LT to protect their new QB. Suamataia is a prospect they've been studying closely this offseason.

3) DRAKE MAYE-QB-NORTH CAROLINA
34) KINGSLEY SUAMATAIA-OT-BYU
68) JA'LYNN POLK-WR-WASHINGTON
103) CALEN BULLOCK-S-USC
137) BRENNAN JACKSON-EDGE-WASHINGTON ST
180) JOSH NEWTON-CB-TCU
193) MARCUS HARRIS-DL-AUBURN
231) DALLIN HOLKER-TE-COLORADO ST

35. Cardinals: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon

Powers-Johnson could start at either C or LG for Arizona depending on who they feel their best 5 are. 4 of the 1st 35 picks is a great way to infuse young talent to this team desperately in need of some.

7) MALIK NABERS-WR-LSU
23) LAIATU LATU-EDGE-UCLA
27) NATE WIGGINS-CB-CLEMSON
35) JACKSON POWERS JOHNSON-C-OREGON
71) BRANDON DORLUS-DL-OREGON
90) RAY DAVIS-HB-KENTUCKY
104) JARED WILEY-TE-TCU
138) AINIAS SMITH-WR-TEXAS AM
162) KITAN OLADAPO-S-OREGON ST
186) JULIAN PEARL-OT-ILLINOIS
226) BRAIDEN MCGREGOR-EDGE-MICHIGAN

36. Packers: Max Melton, CB, Rutgers

Green bay traded back so with their 1st pick they take Melton, whose brother Bo is already on the team. Melton is a ball hawk who can push the oft injured Eric Stokes to the bench.

37. Chargers: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M

Still no WR for the Chargers! Nah, Harbaugh thinks he can find some later. Cooper is the 1st LB off the board and an instant starter in the middle.

5) JOE ALT-OT-NOTRE DAME
37) EDGERRIN COOPER-LB-TEXAS AM
69) TROY FRANKLIN-WR-OREGON
105) BRAELON ALLEN-HB-WISCONSIN
110) KRIS ABRAMS DRAINE-CB-MISSOURI
140) JORDAN JEFFERSON-NT-LSU
181) CORNELIUS JOHNSON-WR-MICHIGAN
225) LOGAN LEE-DL-IOWA
254) JOSH WALLACE-CB-MICHIGAN

38. Titans: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan

Tennessee goes O-line then D-line with their 1st 2 picks. Jenkins should take some pressure off Jeffrey Simmons. They'll hope he turns in the kind of career his father had.

11) OLU FASHANU-OT-PENN ST
38) KRIS JENKINS-DL-MICHIGAN
66) JONAH ELLISS-EDGE-UTAH
106) DADARION TAYLOR DEMERSON-S-TEXAS TECH
146) JAHEIM BELL-TE-FLORIDA ST
182) MARCELLAS DIAL-CB-SOUTH CAROLINA
243) TYRICE KNIGHT-LB-UTEP
253) KINGSLEY EGUAKUN-C-FLORIDA

39. Panthers: Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri

With Carolina's 1st pick, but 2nd addition after trading for Higgins, they take Rakestraw. He was projected late Rd 1 early in the pre draft process but dropped a bit due to subpar testing numbers. He's still a solid corner who should challenge for a starting spot.

39) ENNIS RAKESTRAW-CB-MISSOURI
65) JA'TAVION SANDERS-TE-TEXAS
101) DWAYNE CARTER-DL-DUKE
141) RENARDO GREEN-CB-FLORIDA ST
142) TOMMY EICHENBERG-LB-OHIO ST
241) JALEN SUNDELL-OT-NORTH DAKOTA ST

40. Commanders: Chris Braswell, OLB, Alabama

Here's another pick I think I've had almost every mock I've done. This is Braswell's range and after trading Sweat and Young last year, edge rusher is a major need.

2) JAYDEN DANIELS-QB-LSU
25) TYLER GUYTON-OT-OKLAHOMA
40) CHRIS BRASWELL-EDGE-ALABAMA
67) THEO JOHNSON-TE-PENN ST
100) JEREMIAH TROTTER-LB-CLEMSON
139) JAVON BAKER-WR-UCF
152) CEDRIC JOHNSON-EDGE-MISSISSIPPI
222) KEITH RANDOLPH-DL-ILLINOIS

41. Packers: Jordan Morgan, OT, Arizona

Morgan has the talent to stay outside but lacks length so he might have to move to guard. He will compete for both the starting LT and RG spots and at worst provide quality depth.

42. Texans: Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame

Houston's 1st pick is the tall CB from Notre Dame. They don't have any major needs so the Texans are looking to shore up the teams depth this draft. Hart will provide just that and might even beat out the much traveled Jeff Okudah for a starting spot.

43. Falcons: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas

The fastest man to ever walk the halls of the NFL Combine goes to Atlanta. Kirk Cousins will love this kid and he's a nice compliment to London's skill set.

8) DALLAS TURNER-EDGE-ALABAMA
43) XAVIER WORTHY-WR-TEXAS
74) SPENCER RATTLER-QB-SOUTH CAROLINA
79) JARRIAN JONES-CB-FLORIDA ST
109) ZAK ZINTER-G-MICHIGAN
143) EDEFUAN ULOFOSHIO-LB-WASHINGTON
187) DYLAN LAUBE-HB-NEW HAMPSHIRE
197) WALTER ROUSE-OT-OKLAHOMA

44. Raiders: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

How about a big target for Penix to throw to. Coleman is an acquired taste but putting him and Meyers on the outside with Adams in the slot sounds like a tough time for any defense.

9) MICHAEL PENIX-QB-WASHINGTON
44) KEON COLEMAN-WR-FLORIDA ST
112) MATT GONCALVES-OT-PITTSBURGH
148) JARVIS BROWNLEE-CB-LOUISVILLE
223) JARRETT KINGSTON-G-USC
229) JAMES WILLIAMS-LB-MIAMI

45. Saints: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia

3 WR's in a row, seems like we have a run. McConkey is a solid route runner to pair with Olave in a make or break year for Derek Carr and the coaching staff.

14) TROY FAUTANU-OT-WASHINGTON
45) LADD MCCONKEY-WR-GEORGIA
150) DJ JAMES-CB-AUBURN
168) MALIK MUSTAFA-S-WAKE FOREST
170) TIP REIMAN-TE-ILLINOIS
175) JAMARI THRASH-WR-LOUISVILLE
190) JACOB MONK-C-DUKE
199) ZION LOGUE-NT-GEORGIA
240) DARIUS MUASAU-LB-UCLA

46. Colts: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia

Lassiter was a fringe Rd 1 prospect until a slow 40 time knocked him down a few spots. Still a quality defender and worthy of a mid Rd 2 pick, he will compete for a starting CB spot.

12) BROCK BOWERS-TE-GEORGIA
46) KAMARI LASSITER-CB-GEORGIA
117) AUDRIC ESTIME-HB-NOTRE DAME
151) HUNTER NORZAD-G-PENN ST
191) LIDEATRICK GRIFFIN-WR-MISSISSIPPI ST
203) DEVIN LEARY-QB-KENTUCKY
234) JALEN COKER-WR-HOLY CROSS

47. Giants: Maason Smith, DT, LSU

Nix still on the board but I just don't see the Giants going QB in this draft unless 1 of the top 4 fall to them in Rd 1. Smith will help replace what they lost last year in trading Leonard Williams.

6) MARVIN HARRISON-WR-OHIO ST
47) MAASON SMITH-DL-LSU
70) TREY BENSON-HB-FLORIDA ST
107) BEAU BRADE-S-MARYLAND
166) TANNER MCLACHLAN-TE-ARIZONA
183) JOHNNY DIXON-CB-PENN ST

48. Jaguars: Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida

Pearsall should factor in early for the Jaguars WR rotation. He'll become a quick favorite of Trevor Lawrence in the middle of the field.

17) QUINYON MITCHELL-CB-TOLEDO
48) RICKY PEARSALL-WR-FLORIDA
96) GABRIEL MURPHY-EDGE-UCLA
114) MYLES COLE-DL-TEXAS TECH
116) TANOR BORTOLINI-G-WISCONSIN
153) KIMANI VIDAL-HB-TROY
212) MYLES HARDEN-CB-SOUTH DAKOTA
236) MYLES MURPHY-NT-NORTH CAROLINA

49. Bengals: Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington

Cincy signed Trent Brown to play RT this year but in the long term Rosengarten makes sense to learn behind him for a year. A surprise early entry, he is very young and would probably have been a 1st Rd pick next year if he went back to school.

18) BRIAN THOMAS-WR-LSU
33) BRADEN FISKE-DL-FLORIDA ST
49) ROGER ROSENGARTEN-OT-WASHINGTON
80) JAYLEN WRIGHT-HB-TENNESSEE
97) TREVIN WALLACE-LB-KENTUCKY
115) DWIGHT MCGLOTHERN-CB-ARKANSAS
149) CAELEN CARSON-CB-WAKE FOREST
194) MALIK WASHINGTON-WR-VIRGINIA
214) CHARLES TURNER-C-LSU
224) JORDAN TRAVIS-QB-FLORIDA ST
238) AJ BARNER-TE-MICHIGAN

50. Eagles: Adisa Isaac, DE, Penn State

The Eagles don't have a lot of needs so just getting younger at key positions is the objective in this draft. Isaac won't have too much of a role this year but in a year or 2 he will be a solid contributor.

51. Steelers: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston

Paul will battle incumbent Dan Moore for the starting LT job. He has all the size and talent needed to win but he still needs to put it all together to do so.

20) COOPER DEJEAN-DB-IOWA
51) PATRICK PAUL-OT-HOUSTON
84) MALACHI CORLEY-WR-W KENTUCKY
98) LAYDEN ROBINSON-G-TEXAS AM
119) MOHAMMED KAMARA-EDGE-COLORADO ST
178) RYAN FLOURNOY-WR-NW MISSOURI ST
195) DOMINIQUE HAMPTON-S-WASHINGTON

52. Rams: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon

The Rams have 3 3rd Rd picks so they have the luxury of taking a QB here. Nix's fall is over, if you want to consider it a fall since I have a 2nd Rd grade on him anyways. This is the perfect spot for him to sit behind Stafford for 2-3 years.

24) DARIUS ROBINSON-DL-MISSOURI
52) BO NIX-QB-OREGON
83) MARSHAWN LLOYD-HB-USC
87) BRALEN TRICE-EDGE-WASHINGTON
99) CEDRIC GRAY-LB-NORTH CAROLINA
155) BEAU LIMMER-C-ARKANSAS
196) CAM LITTLE-PK-ARKANSAS
209) MCKINNLEY JACKSON-NT-TEXAS AM
213) JAVONTAE JEAN BAPTISTE-EDGE-NOTRE DAME
217) MARK PERRY-S-TCU
255) TARHEEB STILL-CB-MARYLAND

53. Eagles: T.J. Tampa, CB, Iowa State

Another aging position has Philly drafting for the future. This is a bit of a reach value wise for me but Tampa fits the Eagles scheme and can take over as a starting CB a year down the road.

22) AMARIUS MIMS-OT-GEORGIA
50) ADISA ISAAC-EDGE-PENN ST
53) TJ TAMPA-CB-IOWA ST
120) BRENDEN RICE-WR-USC
161) EVAN WILLIAMS-S-OREGON
171) FABIAN LOVETT-NT-FLORIDA ST
172) GEORGE HOLANI-HB-BOISE ST
210) TREVOR KEAGAN-G-MICHIGAN

54. Browns: Javon Bullard, CB/S, Georgia

Bullard is really a NB masquerading as a safety. Cleveland doesn't have a lot of needs or picks so their 1st selection is all about taking value with how the board falls.

54) JAVON BULLARD-DB-GEORGIA
85) JUNIOR COLSON-LB-MICHIGAN
156) JAVON FOSTER-OT-MISSOURI
206) ISAIAH WILLIAMS-WR-ILLINOIS
227) MJ DEVONSHIRE-CB-PITTSBURGH
244) DEVIN CULP-TE-WASHINGTON

55. Dolphins: T'Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas

Until his DUI, I had Sweat early 2nd so I did drop him a little. His weight and decision making are obvious questions that need to be addressed but he has loads of talent and is the perfect NT for Miami's D.

21) GRAHAM BURTON-G-DUKE
55) T'VONDRE SWEAT-NT-TEXAS
158) DEVAUGHN VELE-WR-UTAH
184) JAYLIN SIMPSON-S-AUBURN
198) GRAYSON MURPHY-EDGE-UCLA
242) RYAN WATTS-DB-TEXAS

56. Cowboys: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia

Dallas shoring up the O-line with their top 2 picks. Frazier will be their new starting C for the next decade.

19) JC LATHAM-G-ALABAMA
56) ZACH FRAZIER-C-WEST VIRGINIA
154) BUCKY IRVING-HB-OREGON
174) DEMACERION RICHARDSON-CB-MISSISSIPPI ST
216) XAVIER WEAVER-WR-COLORADO
233) MICHAEL BARRETT-LB-MICHIGAN
245) KEILAN ROBINSON-HB-TEXAS

57. Buccaneers: Jermaine Burton, WR, Alabama

Burton has great potential but comes with maturity questions. Learning behind Evans and Godwin for a couple years will be Tampa's hope to shape him into a professional athlete.

26) CHOP ROBINSON-EDGE-PENN ST
57) JERMAINE BURTON-WR-ALABAMA
89) COOPER BEEBE-G-KANSAS ST
92) MIKE SAINRISTIL-CB-MICHIGAN
125) KAMREN KINCHENS-S-MIAMI
220) TYLER DAVIS-DL-CLEMSON
247) JONTREY HUNTER-LB-GEORGIA ST

58. Packers: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State

Green Bay switching to a 4-3 this year means they need more off-ball LB's to pair with Quay Walker. Wilson comes with medical concerns but tested great and had awesome production this past year.

36) MAX MELTON-CB-RUTGERS
41) JORDAN MORGAN-OT-ARIZONA
58) PAYTON WILSON-LB-NORTH CAROLINA ST
78) JAIDEN HICKS-S-WASHINGTON ST
88) BLAKE CORUM-HB-MICHIGAN
91) MASON MCCORMICK--G-SOUTH DAKOTA ST
126) ERIC WATTS-DL-UCONN
169) TORY TAYLOR-P-IOWA
202) KEDON SLOVIS-QB-BYU
219) KT LEVESTON-G-KANSAS ST
246) OMAR BROWN-S-NEBRASKA
256) DEQUAN HARDY-CB-PENN ST

59. Texans: Christian Jones, OT, Texas

Jones is an emerging RT who could replace Tytus Howard in a year or 2 and be a quality back up in the mean time.

42) CAM HART-CB-NOTRE DAME
59) CHRISTIAN JONES-OT-TEXAS
86) MICHAEL HALL-DL-OHIO ST
123) ISAAC GUERENDO-HB-LOUISVILLE
127) SATAOA LAUMEA-G-UTAH
188) XAVIER THOMAS-EDGE-CLEMSON
189) JORDAN MAGEE-LB-TEMPLE
239) TRAJAN JEFFCOAT-EDGE-ARKANSAS
248) TY'RON HOPPER-LB-MISSOURI

60. Bills: Jonathon Brooks, RB, Texas

Brooks is the 1st RB off the board and would have gone sooner if not for a late season injury last year. Pairing Brooks with Cook should give Buffalo a solid 1-2 punch as they shift to more of a traditional running style and hopefully take some hits off of Josh Allen.

28) ADONAI MITCHELL-WR-TEXAS
60) JONATHAN BROOKS-HB-TEXAS
128) MEKHI WINGO-DL-LSU
133) CHRISTIAN MAHOGANY-G-BOSTON COLLEGE
144) JACOB COWING-WR-ARIZONA
160) NEHEMIAH PRITCHETT-CB-AUBURN
163) JALYX HUNT-EDGE-HOUSTON CHRISTIAN
200) JOSH PROCTOR-S-OHIO ST
204) JD BERTRAND-LB-NOTRE DAME
249) GARRETT GREENFIELD-OT-SOUTH DAKOTA ST

61. Lions: Marshawn Kneeland, DE, Western Michigan

Local prospect Kneeland give the Lions some pass rushing depth that could turn into a quality starter across from Hutchinson.

29) KOOL AID MCKINSTRY-CB-ALABAMA
61) MARSHAWN KNEELAND-EDGE-W MICHIGAN
73) DEVONTEZ WALKER-WR-NORTH CAROLINA
164) SEDRICK VAN PRAN GRANGER-C-GEORGIA
201) KAMAL HADDEN-CB-TENNESSEE
205) HARRISON MEVIS-PK-MISSOURI
250) ETHAN DRISKELL-OT-MARSHALL

62. Ravens: Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan

Not much depth at WR right now for Baltimore so you know they'll be in the WR business at this years draft. John does enjoy grabbing some of his brothers former players and Wilson should see early playing time.

30) TALIESE FUAGA-OT-OREGON ST
62) ROMAN WILSON-WR-MICHIGAN
93) TYLER NUBIN-S-MINNESOTA
113) KHYREE JACKSON-CB-OREGON
130) AUSTIN BOOKER-EDGE-KANSAS
165) JUSTIN EBOIGBE-DL-ALABAMA
218) BUB MEANS-WR-PITTSBURGH
228) JAYLEN KEY-S-ALABAMA
251) RASHEEN ALI-HB-MARSHALL

63. 49ers: Ben Sinnott, DE, Kansas State

The 49er's put a bid on, and lost, Lions back up TE Wright. Sinnott is a solid all around TE to back up George Kittle.

31) JER'ZAHN NEWTON-DL-ILLINOIS
63) BEN SINNOTT-TE-KANSAS ST
94) BLAKE FISHER-OT-NOTRE DAME
124) CURTIS JACOBS-LB-PENN ST
132) TYKEE SMITH-DB-GEORGIA
135) TYRONE TRACY-HB-PURDUE
176) ANTHONY GOULD-WR-OREGON ST
211) EYABI OKIE ANOMA-EDGE-CHARLOTTE
215) MILLARD BRADFORD-S-TCU
252) MATT LEE-C-MIAMI

64. Chiefs: Brandon Coleman, OT, TCU

I'm thinking KC is going to resign Donovan Smith after the draft to be their starting LT again and I am not projecting Coleman as a OT. I see Coleman more as an all around back up this year with an eye on a starting guard spot in 2025.

32) XAVIER LEGETTE-WR-SOUTH CAROLINA
64) BRANDON COLEMAN-G-TCU
95) ELIJAH JONES-CB-BOSTON COLLEGE
131) MARIST LIUFAU-LB-NOTRE DAME
159) WILL SHIPLEY-HB-CLEMSON
173) KHRISTIAN BOYD-NT-N IOWA
221) FRANK CRUM-OT-WYOMING
