QB Value Picks Week 5

4 weeks in the books. We will continue week 5 by checking out the Quarter Backs. Again, this is all based on Draft Kings salary numbers and scoring, these are my value picks, NOT my best receivers of the week. These are the guys that I foresee offering the best bang for buck when picking your rosters this week.

Ideal points for price for RB:

$6,600 and up should be getting 22+ points

$6,100 to $6,500 should be getting 19 to 22 points.

$5,600 to $6,000 should be getting 15 to 18 points.

$5,500 and under should be getting 10 to 14 points.

Keep this in mind when I make my picks.

1.  QB Paxton Lynch, Denver Broncos V.S. Atlanta Falcons $5,200:

Lynch will be the starter against the Falcons Defense that is giving the most points to QB’s thus far. In his limited action against Tampa last week Lynch was able to post 170 Yards and 1 TD. With a full game and against the Falcons defense I like Lynch to have a comfortable game passing this week.

Prediction:  275 Passing Yards, 2 TD’s and 1 INT for 18 points.

2.  QB Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens V.S. Washington Redskins $6,200:

Flacco has been putting up decent numbers this year so far but he really hasn’t be able to get a game with multiple TD’s. This week against the Redskins, Flacco should not have any problems with that. With a stable running game, and Steve Smith, Pitta, Perriman and West catching balls, I think Flacco will be able to move the ball and pass all day on the Redskins.

Prediction:  275 Passing Yards, 3 TD’s and 1 INT for 22 Points

3.  QB Eli Manning V.S. Green Bay Packers $6,000:

This is a matchup that I cannot pass up. The Packers might be at home but they will be without Sam Shields. And for a secondary that is already struggling really bad and allowing 307+ yards passing a game this could spell disaster. Add to that Manning has been doing a great job getting OBJ, Sterling Shephard and Victor Cruz all involved in the passing game evenly. Manning should be able to pick apart the defense and move the ball down the field.

Prediction:  300 Passing Yards, 2 TD’s and 1 INT for 22 Points
