QB Value Picks Week 4

3 weeks in the books, we start to get an idea of what to expect from teams in the NFL. We will start week 4 by checking out the Quarterbacks. Again, this is all based on Draft Kings salary numbers and scoring, these are my value picks, NOT my best quarterbacks of the week. These are the guys that I foresee offering the best bang for buck when picking your rosters this week. With quarterbacks I see a “Value” pick anything less than $6,000. When you pay $7,500 or more for a player, that guy must be posting 25+ points. $6,100 to $7,400 should be getting you between 18 and 24 points for the cost. When looking at the guys I’m listing, they should only be putting 12-17 points. But, I feel offer the ability to get more then they should.

1.  QB Trevor Siemian, Denver Broncos V.S. Tampa Bay Buccaneers $5,400:

This is a no brainer. Somehow Siemian’s price tag has still not gone up in Draft Kings, as he is about as cheap as it comes. Now the Rams did win, and they looked way better than they should. But, I think that Siemian is far better than Case Keenum and has a lot better cast around him. The Bucs are pretty good against the run and I expect the Broncos to have to pass more than they might like in this game. I like Siemian for 280 yards, 2 scores and an interception for 21 points.

2.  QB Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens V.S. Oakland Raiders $5,900:

The Raiders are leaving to many yards out there on the field and while Smith had an interception yesterday he is still a shell of his prime in Kansas City. I think Flacco is really starting to get better with his receivers and will pick the Raiders off in what will ultimately turn into a game through the air.  I like Flacco for 300 yards, 2 touchdowns, and a interception for 22 points.

3.  QB Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins V.S. Cincinnati Bangles $5,800:

This pick is a little riskier, Tannehill literally looks like a crazy man at the end of these football games. His yards in the Patriot game was more garbage time than anything and he looked alright against a Browns defense without Joe Hayden. The Bangles just let Siemian toss up 4 touchdowns on them and look like an all-star. I like there to be a lot of running in this game but the fourth quarter will be played through the air. I like Tannehill for 300 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions for 20 points.
