WR Value Picks for Week 5

4 weeks down in the season and week 5 is here. Let’s start by checking out the Receivers. Again, this is all based on Draft Kings salary numbers and scoring, these are my value picks, NOT my best receivers of the week. These are the guys that I foresee offering the best bang for buck when picking your rosters this week.

Ideal points for price for WR:

$8,000 and up should be getting 26+ points.

$6,800 to $7,900 should be getting 21 to 25 points.

$5,600 to $6,700 should be getting 16 to 20 points.

$4,400 to $5,500 should be getting 11 to 15 points.

$3,200 to $4,300 should be getting 6 to 10 points

$3,100 and less should be getting 2 to 5 points

Keep this in mind when I make my picks.

1.  Dontrelle Inman, San Diego Chargers V.s. Oakland Raiders:  $4,100

Inman posted 7 receptions for 120 yards and a score against the Saints. With the Raiders giving more points to receivers than the saints. I think that between Williams, Inman and Benjamin this team is going to do well against the Raiders.

Prediction:  5 Receptions, 80 Receiving Yards and 1 TD for 19 points.

2.  Robert Woods, Buffalo Bills V.S. Los Angeles Rams:  $3,900

The Bills Shocked us all last week with shutting out the Patriots. The Bills don’t have Watkins anymore and so Woods is getting a lot more targets (10 last weeks and 8 the week prior). I think this trend will continue and think that he will match up well against the Rams.

Prediction:  6 Receptions, 80 Receiving Yards and 1 TD for 20 points.

1.  Kendall Wright, Tennessee Titans V.S. Miami Dolphins $3,000:

This is an easy and difficult choice to make. Wright had his first week this season last week and didn’t really do too much. However, I think getting his feet back into the system and with Sharpe and Walker on the field, I see Wright taking advantage of Miami’s joke of corners and having a good game.

Prediction:  4 Receptions, 70 Receiving Yards and 1 TD for 17 points.

5.  Eddie Royal, Chicago Bears V.S. Indianapolis Colts $4,200:

Royal has been a secret weapon for the Bears, he has been quietly moving his way through the depth chart. Of course this helps when the team puts Kevin White on IR Royal is going to have nice week against the Colts this week. Surprisingly the Colts and their bad secondary have been holding team’s receivers to very few points. However, that is probably due to the Colts letting running backs have their way on the field.

Prediction:  5 Receptions, 60 Receiving Yards and 1 TD for 15 points.

5.  Sterling Shepard, New York Giants V.s. Green Bay Packers $5,500:

Shephard has been averaging 7 or more targets the past 3 weeks. I think the attention will go to Odell, leaving Shephard to have the middle or outside to himself. Green Bay has a bad defense that is not stopping any WR’s and I don’t think this will stop here after a bye, especially with Sam Shields out this game.

Prediction:  5 Receptions, 90 Receiving Yards and 1 TD for 20 points.
